The property itself is decent, but our experience at check-in left a lot to be desired. The clerk was inattentive—we were literally left waiting while he stood outside petting a cat. Then, he told us our reservation hadn’t been paid, even though we booked and paid through Expedia. We ended up being charged twice.
To make matters worse, the first room we were given was under construction. After going back to the desk, we were reassigned to a different room that wasn’t oceanfront, even though that’s what we had originally booked.
On a positive note, the clerk who checked us out was much more professional and helpful. Overall, the experience felt disorganized and frustrating, which was disappointing given the potential of the property.
