Really loved the space, super clean and great view. The only glitch was when the island went into black out on Wed 4/6 There was no communication from the owner at all to check up on us. We had no lights, AC, functional fridge or use of the kitchen. I reached out to her and she said yes, it's all over the news, it's a black out and that was it. In the meantime we had to go and buy ice for our food in the fridge and some candles. She finally asked us if we needed anything two days into the outage on Friday 4/8 and so ice and lanterns were finally delivered two days after having no power. The power came back on the morning hours of Saturday. But then went back on that same day, so I was still grateful at least attempt was made to make us more comfortable, but it was pretty late in the game.
It was a bummer not to be able to make coffee or food during the outage, or have a warm shower, but we were able to reap the benefits of the condo and its amenities for at least a few days of our stay. I totally understand black outs are nothing within the owners control, but more prompt attention would have been appreciated .
