Great home. Plenty of space. Nice pool. The true testament of a VRBO is if you would stay there again. I certainly would. Host was communicative. We really enjoyed our stay.

The home is located in a beautiful, gated community and offers plenty of space—perfect for accommodating our large group. This was our second time staying in this same community, so it felt familiar and remained a top choice for us. The outdoor pool area is especially nice and a great place to relax. Also, I stayed in the main bedroom, I could hear a lot of traffic from outside of the community but I travel with a white noise machine for nighttime so this didn't bother me at all. We did experience ongoing issues with the hot water. In the main bedroom, the shower never produced hot water. One time, I was able to get warm water using the tub faucet, but that didn’t last, and the next day, neither the tub nor the shower had warm water. The hallway shower only had hot water intermittently, while the second en-suite bathroom had no issues at all. We were informed that the house shares a single water heater, but unfortunately, the issue was never resolved during our stay.This made parts of our stay uncomfortable, but aside from the water issue, everything else was fine.

Great Time

Our family and friends had good time. Kids had great time in the pool and it’s accessible for all the restaurants, beaches and historical place in driving distance.

Over all great stay

Over all a good stay. Host was very easy going and got back with a reply quickly. The house gate was a little wacky. As you will see in other reviews but nothing major.

Beautiful, comfortable home in San Juan

Me and my family of 8 thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The home was clean and comfortable. Jorge was able to arrange early check-in for us and once our stay began he was very responsive and proactive. Puerto Rico experienced major blackouts across the island during our stay, so we were very thankful that this property had a generator that kicked on automatically. We hardly noticed that the power went out. If we had a minor complaint about the property, it was the noise. Besides the noise of generator (and neighbors' generators), the house is next to a pretty busy street, so there was some traffic noise from time to time. The other minor bother was that exiting the neighborhood requires a remote control for the gate or a key to the man-gate next to it. Another remote and/or gate key would have been helpful when our group wanted to split up for an outing. The location was excellent. It was very convenient getting anywhere we wanted to go. It took us about 10 minutes to get to Old San Juan, less than that to get to La Placita de Santurce, and some good food places were within walking distance. Although the little beach mentioned in the listing wasn't great expect to look at the ocean from, Ocean Park beach was wonderful and only a 10 minute walk away.All in all I would recommend this property and will consider staying again when we visit in the future!

Great stay in San Juan

We had a great stay at this property in San Juan. The photos and website description are accurate. The house is perfect for a group. Each room has its own air conditioning unit so everyone can set their room to their own preferences. We appreciated the extra amenities such as large beach towels and a cooler. The backyard is wonderful. We really enjoyed the pool, grill and outdoor furniture. The house was clean and all of the linens were freshly laundered. The host was quick to answer questions and left detailed instructions that were easy to follow for check in and check out. Some of the other reviews mention loud dogs and motorcycles. We did hear both- but it did not negatively impact our stay. When you stay in the city- you need to expect noise. If you want complete silence, don’t stay in the city.The property is in a gated community which made us feel safe. Parts of the area around the property are not well maintained, but the gated community is. It was close to the convention center and old San Juan (about 15 minute drive to either). We really liked this property and would stay here again.

Spring Break

Great property came with 10 people. Felt very safe, plenty of room, and Jorge was great replacing the tv pretty quickly when it wasn't working. locations close to everything. Overall, everyone had a great weekend.

Good Location-OK house

We stayed in this house with 9 people for a friend's wedding in Carolina. The location was conveniently located for most things we wanted to do. The house is located next to the entrance, which was easy to access for Ubers around San Juan. We asked the host for an early check-in before we arrived and never received a response. The house itself was just OK. When we arrived, we noticed that the stairs inside were deteriorating and a kitchen chair was broken. The foosball table outside was lopsided and unusable, and the outdoor TV did not work. The pool area itself was lovely and we enjoyed the privacy. The two rooms that face the pool area face a streetlight that was extremely bright every night even with curtains drawn. There was also the occasional street race/motorcycle group that was noisy late at night. It was hard to cook a group meal due to the lack of pans/pots/tools provided in the kitchen. A grocery store is within walking distance.The checkin and checkout process were extremely simple and we did not have chores to complete before we left, which is appreciated.

Great Time

We had a great experience at this property! Jorge was very responsive and we were allowed an early check in which was so helpful. The home itself seemed bigger than the photos, and was very clean. The neighborhood itself was noisy at night, with a lot of dogs barking and patrons from the bar, but being in a gated community we felt very safe and never had any issues. The check out process could have been a little more detailed with the instructions, but overall I would recommend staying here and would book again.

Beautiful property

We loved the house, Very spacious, We were able to walk and eat near the house. Gas station around the corner to buy any necessities and the home was absolutely stunning. We didn't have any issues with Noice like previously mentioned. Cool place overall.

Very attentive

I would recommend this property for anyone traveling to Puerto Rico. The house is spacious and has a wonderful backyard. The host is extremely attentive and is very responsive. We stayed in this property when there was a power outage that affected the entire island on New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day. Luckily, the property has a generator. The host went above and beyond to make sure to have the gas company come refill the tank late on New Year’s Eve. Thanks to his efforts, our stay was not affected at all. Highly recommend!

Everything was great except the lock on the community gate is pretty old so trying to work the key is tricky sometimes. Other than the everything was great and the owner was able to provide a late check out which was much appreciated.

The house was just right for the 5 couples & to me it was even better in person as the pictures made it seemed smaller than it actually is. The neighborhood was nice. Location of the house made easy to access Uber right outside the gate. House manager Jorge is quick to respond & allowed us to check in early since the house was ready.

Beautiful home

This property was beautiful and as described. I loved that it was inside a secluded gated community. It is close to the street so you do hear a lot of traffic especially at night, however it was something we got used to within a couple of days. Property manager was responsive each time I texted. Air Conditioning units kept the house cool at all times! I would recommend staying here to anyone who asked.

Great location

This was a pretty good, centralized location. The house itself needed a little TLC. It was nice but somethings needed some work so it made the stay a little frustrating. The host was very kind and very quick to respond to us which was very helpful. Overall, it was a good stay.

BEWARE

Beware! False advertising, negligent landlord, anemic customer service. During my 29 days rental: 3.5 BAs had no hot water on 9 days and no flushable toilets on 5 days (due to cheap design built without electric hot water heater to supplement solar energy on cloudy days and without on-site water tank to buffer unreliable public water system); 5 BRs all exposed to loud noise from motorcycle rallies, karaoke bar, and dog boarding kennel (all within 100 feet of bedroom windows) disrupted sleep on 8 days; semi-private beach was nonexistent except at lowest tides below 10-ft-high rock embankment; front walkway gate (unlockable) and driveway gate (only partially opens automatically) broken all 29 days; ; home improvement contractors remedying water system design deficiencies (not maintenance or repairs) shared rented living space on 7 days. VRBO processed refund of 1 day's rent early on and refuses to do more without owner's consent, while owner "refuses to negotiate" my request for equitable price adjustment for 7 day's rent, so I am disputing charges using credit card arbitration. This owner severely harmed the vacations of my family and friends while violating my trust as a prepaid tenant. Landlord's ultimatum to move out after 5 days in order to receive additional refund was useless given pending arrivals of family and friends flying in from U.S. mainland for vacations. VRBO's view that landlord met obligations under contract is absurd given the facts.
