Perfect San Jose Getaway!

Our stay was fantastic! The home was nice and had modern amenities and a cozy vibe. We traveled with our elderly mother and the layout of the house was very accommodating and easy for her to navigate. The location was ideal, central to everything in San Jose. A special shoutout to the host for being incredibly responsive and welcoming. We had a wonderful time and can't wait to return! Highly recommended!

Clean, well stocked, easy freeway access, BUT....

The bed in the master bedroom was terrible. My parents slept in that bed and they said it was super uncomfortable. The neighborhood was quiet, but seemed a little shady. We are not familiar with the neighborhood, but based on the houses, it seemed like it could be a little less than ideal of a neighborhood. The house was very comfortable otherwise. Very spacious and big enough for the 6 of us and puppy. It was very clean and very well kept.

this was right around the corner from my house so was perfect for my 4 grown kids and 3 grandkids to be. It was much nicer than the 3 hotel rooms I would have needed. and closer the bed rooms all had very large tv in each room. desk in living room and master to do work. there were a couple spiders out in the patio area we took care of but not bad for this area, as I said I know the area

The property is nicely updated and very modern. That said, it could do with some more rental basics. The house should have more bed pillows for renters, all simple appliances (there is no need for a stand mixer and/or crepe brûlée torch). Additional sheets/comforters should also be available for renters. The thermostat also needs to be standardized. The house went down to 62 one night and up to 90 another night. The house is lovely and well located. The check in and out process was simple and the owner was responsive.

Great Value

We went on a family trip to the Winchester Mystery House. In searching properties, this was by far the best value for a one night stay. The check in process was simple. As far as parking, we parked one in front of the other, as we needed to park on the cement pad, and could not fit side by side which was fine. When we checked in, the house was warm, but a quick message to the property manager and the AC was on in minutes. We took note of a few damages we noticed and reported them to the manager, but there was nothing that hindered our stay. There was everything you needed in the kitchen. In the guest bedrooms, one of the queen mattresses was firm, one was soft, so guests can choose their preference. The area doesn't seem like it is the nicest, however it was quiet and we did not have any issues or feel unsafe. The only notes I will make is that the couch and area rug could use a shampooing, and the guest shower needs some draino. Also, upon checkout, there were no instructions on where to leave the linens or towels so we left the beds as is and towels on the bathroom floor. Other than that, which was miniscule in my book, we had a great stay and would definitely stay again if we ever took a trip back to the area.

Nice stay

We needed a place to stay since we were going to a concert at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara. Plenty of space for us three adults and we each got our own rooms. It was quiet. It was quick to a local breakfast place nearby.

Because we travel with pets, yards are important. The yard photos were different than actual yard. A part of fence was broken and there was access to a do neighbors dog. Also, apparently as we learned there had been a big Halloween party the day before our arrival. There was chocolate and other candy on the grounds as well as cigarette butts. Had to do lots of clean up quickly. Inside carpet was a bit dirty. Had old gum on it.The house was very nice other than this. Very big and spacious. And basically clean.
