"This is the most delightful place we have stayed in a long time. Lovely unit, full kitchen, gorgeous backyard to wander and relax in, Host management was hard to reach, but I'm also tricky, so played phone tag. Bed was a bit uncomfortable, but not bad. If you need a firm mattress, maybe ask for a different room. They all look charming. The beautiful poster bed was important for me. The tv area, bathroom, etc. were set up so nicely and relaxing. Reading lights were a little dim, but I'm old. There is the most amazing sky. Climb to the top of their tower to see stars as you have never seen. Also, enjoy a visit to chickens and ducks during the day. Shop for food in a good health grocery in town 10 minutes away, maximum. Also enjoy their art museum and stores. We did only stay one night because changed dates and no availability for two nights. Next visit will be 3 nights."

"Maddie is excellent, and so is the property. We had such a wonderful week here. Everything was clean, and the hostess even left us some special treats for our arrival. A lot of wonderful memories were made."

"Nothing but superlatives to report about the cabin. Pete is an involved host, and we were at the cabin when the aspen fall colors were near peak. Warm autumn days with blue skies and a touch of snow on the higher peaks. Cabin is well appointed and the host has anticipated most every need. The instructions in the binder are straightforward. We felt at home right away. Cabin is sited about 10 miles from Westcliffe, and the route guidance is easy to follow. The Starlink wifi is robust even with several tablets using the internet. Ample bandwith.Easy drive back to Westcliffe to pick up additional groceries or anything wanted.Really glad we booked this place. The week flew by. Deer make the occasional visit. Didn't realize the deck was trimmed with fairy lights until midweek."
