Dear Jason,what a surprise reading your review... we gave you one of the most appreciated rooms in our farmhouse, with indipendent entrance, a small external area and view on the medieval town of Certaldo Alto....You left without doing check-out at the reception, what a uncorrect behaviour even if your rersevation was only for one night... we just discovered you left later in the morning by the cleaing lady...

Dear LIne,thanks for appreciating our location, but anyway we are sad to only now have acknowledging that our free upgrade for the room you booked was not appreciated. Actually you booked a room in dependance, at 500 mt from the main house where reception and breakfast iare served for all guests (avoiding to do everyday 500 mt for meals) and where you had the opportunity to use the wonderful infinity pool of the main house. Morever the new assigned room was on two levels and more spacious than a standard double room... so we are very sorry about that..Our farmhouse is up on a hill in the countryside, in the very heart of Tuscany, among Florence Siena and Pisa, all easy reachable for a daily trip. We are just 10 minutes driving distance from San Gimignano, called the medieval Manhattan, from Certaldo Alto, a jewel of medieval towns, Monteriggioni with its original medieval walls, and then Volterra, Colle di Valdelsa, Vinci, San MIniato, the famous Chianti area etc...Our farmhouse is also an organic winery and we offer wine tastings, walking wine tours, Tuscan cooking classes etc... just asking more information at the reception desk.

We are very sorry Aziz to have received a such low review, but were aware about it.... Unfortunately we were not able to offer any upgrade to the room you decided to book, after checking pictures and description. We assigned you exactly what you booked, that is a tiny attic room in annex building at 500 mt from the main house, of about 9sm and French bed with bathroom ensuite. The airconditioning did work, but due to the high temperature we had all over Italy, it impossile to arrive to have 20 degrees in the room, moreover it is not what expected in an organic farmhouse.Next time we suggest you to pay more attention when booking on-line.

Dear Anonymous,we used Google traslate to read your review as we don't speak your language, sorry, but our rooms have all their own private bathroom ensuite. Maybe you meant the common toilette by the pool in the annex buillding, that is groundfloor. Our rooms have no fridge or kettle, so we guess you meant again the common area by the annex building, that we allow guests staying there to use, as reception is only in the main house at 500 mt.Please consider that in our farmhouse cleaning service is only in the morning, so we are sorry if other guests have a incorrect behavior using some common services. We thank you for the suggestion anyway, in the future we suggest you to contact the reception for any issue during the stay, in order to let us have the opportunity to improve our service solving immediately any matter and let you have the must comfortable stay.

Dear Ruben,thanks for appreciating our hospitality!Pools are going to be open by the end of May, according to the weather. During your stay anyway one of our pool was open andour guests could have enjoyed the panorama.Please consider that our holidays farmhouse is in the really heart of the Tuscan countryside, on a top of a hill surrounded by vineyards and olive trees. We are about 10 minutes driving distance from San Gimignano and 5 minutes driving distance from the town of Certaldo.We are not served by public transport and in our country area there's no real taxi service, but only rental cars with drivers to be booked in advance.For these reasons, we hardly recommend our guests to reach us by a own rental car, to better enjoy their stay in our holidays farmhouse.Thanks again for choosing us.
