"Probably got the worse room in the hotel. No window, next to the electrical room. Already not much light, then overhead light burnt out making it impossible to see. Otherwise hotel staff was very accommodating."

The Pickwick Hotel
8/10 Good
"The hotel location is great and being a an older hotel you expect some small quirks with the building. I guess do to vagrant issues, they do not open the double doors in front so on a warm day lobby is very stuffy (AC in rooms only). Carpets are super dirty. Furniture on lobby area has holes, rips, tears. the photos are not correct. And it is not that clean or comfortable. Looking in the gathering areas. The attached restaurant does not open until after one o'clock in afternoon, so don't expect getting anything before then. The price is right for what you get in that area of SF. It is a 3 star at best hotel on a scale of 1 - 5 star. Nothing horribly bad, but nothing exceptional. Beds are comfy and pillows not bad. Just don't expect 5 star and you will be fine."
