Hampton by Hilton San Jose Airport
A wonderful night sleep after a long flight. Quiet, clean, comfortable, all we needed. I would stay here again. Free shuttle to and from the airport was very helpful.

Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, San Jose Aeropuerto, Costa Rica
Third floor walk up room in furthest building from reception and after carrying our luggage up (no elevators) we come to find that our key cards don’t work. Pretty small room. Ok for a quick stay if coming in or out of SJO for the night. This is a 3 star hotel at best.

A very modern property first opened in 2021. Very secure in many ways. Wonderful room. Great breakfast, including some Costa Rican favorites like gallo pinto. Great shuttle. Other great amenities. Safe neighborhood. One of the best places I’ve ever stayed at!

Not enough staff. Takes to long to ask for anything or get a person on the phone. Hotel halls extremely long the distance from one place to another was way too much.
