Perfect Vacation

We had an amazing time at this home! The house has everything you need and more and the location is easy to see everything but still have some quiet evenings! Shopping nearby and a pool really made our trip relaxing. Thank you so much!

San Diego family vacation

Property was convenient to highways to get around San Diego. I think the house had what we needed. However needs a good cleaning! And can use some updating very dated master bathroom.

Lots of space and good location

This property had ample space for our family. The neighborhood was quiet and had easy access to a main road to quickly get to the freeway as well as the grocery store and restaurants. Appreciated the pack & play, booster seat, and toys for our son. Outdoor space was great although we didn't get to use the pool as much as we were hoping due to the cooler weather. Overall this was a great space, and we would stay here again.

Great family getaway.

Our family stayed at this house while my wife was attending a conference. The conference was unexpectedly switched to virtual, but we decided to take our trip anyway. We are so glad we did. The house was very clean and comfortable. Gave us room to play while she was in classes. The kids loved the pool and even overcame their fear surrounding the water. The house came stocked with many things including some shampoo and conditioner when we ran out and some toys for the kids! The kids absolutely loved the bunk beds. The gardens are beautiful in the front yard. The hosts were helpful with questions and left clear instruction for checking in and out. Peaceful neighborhood not far from many of the fun places in San Diego and the surrounding area. We will be back in the future.

great house awful experience with management company

when we arrived at 2000 hours after 100's of miles travelling the house had not be cleaned and was in a awful state with unmade beds, dirty linen, dirty toilets etc. We called the emergency number and the management company never responded to phone calls or emails. Finally at 2300 hours after 8 international calls I managed to get through and the managing agent was rude and aggressive and did even believe me that the house was not clean or even volunteer to call me back. He finally told us where to find a key for a locked cupboard that had some clean sheets. The house was finally cleaned at 1100 hours the following morning. Surfely a good management company would know the house has not be cleaned and be proactive? Not this one and it has never been explained why the house was not cleaned even though we booked 9 months before and he knew we were arriving. I have been refunded $150 which is hardly reasonalble for the stress and aggrivation caused to my wife an kids and now since leaving the house and returning home the guy has stopped answering any emails. It spoilt what is obviously a nice stay at a nice house.

Wonder property! Well stocked kitchen, refreshing pool, and close proximity to San Diego attractions makes it ideal. The beach and restaurant recommendations were spot on and greatly appreciated. We would definitely stay again.

Family Girls Trip April 2025

We loved this house and location! San Diego did not disappoint and neither did this home. We were there for spring break with 3 adult women and a 12-year-old girl. We were able to use the pool the first day and were delighted that it has solar heat. We were less than 30 mins from everything & everywhere we wanted to explore and were situated in a great neighborhood for morning walks and close home amenities like CVS and Aldi. The property was well kept up, the pool guy and landscaper even stopped by while we were there. This was a little unnerving, but we didn't mind. If we return to San Diego, we will certainly stay here again. Side note: Many come to San Diego for the Zoo but I felt the Zoo-Safari (a totally different location) was the real star and much less talked about. If you are here to see the animals don't pass this place up. Bemonte Family

First Trip to San Diego

Our family of 7 (4 adults & 3 children) spent a week at this home & thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house was perfect for our needs with adult couples in queen and king beds & each of the kids in their own beds in the 3rd bedroom. We slept exceptionally well & enjoyed the convenience of preparing our own meals. The house was well equipped with all we needed for our week’s stay including some spices and condiments, coffee pods, a selection of tea, plenty of pots & pans & dishes, towels & washcloths, and shampoo & soap in the bathrooms. We especially appreciated the location, which was central to all the places we planned to visit: San Diego Zoo, Balboa Park, Sea Word, the Safari Park & the USS Midway. With the exception of the Safari Park, which is a bit remote, it never took us longer than 20 minutes to drive from the house to our destination, even with traffic. We also took advantage of a nearby Costco for easy prep meals & visited the IKEA next to Costco a couple of times to shop! Overall, we couldn’t believe how easy & comfortable the stay at this house was & plan to refer any friends/family looking to spend some time in San Diego to consider staying here as well. Thank you!

Great family visit to San Diego

The house is very comfortable and great for families with young kids. It was well situated, felt like we could get to most points of interest in 15-20 m8n, so very convenient. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook family meals. We visited in winter, so it was too cool to use the pool or the beach supplies, but really nice that those were available. Would definitely book here again.

Was perfect for us

The layout suited us well. Had a handicapped person in our group so glad it didn't have stairs and did have grab bars. The neighborhood was nicely decorated for Christmas which we enjoyed. Destinations we went to weren't too far away. I would definitely stay there again.

great location - quiet neighborhood

This was a nice house in a great location not far from everything we wanted to see in San Diego. It had everything we needed, the kitchen was well-stocked, and it was a great place to relax after sightseeing all day.

A little disappointed

We loved the house and its location. When we arrived we planed on using the pool....that quickly changed. The pool was filthy. We contacted the host and asked to have it cleaned. After several calls we quit trying. We could not use the pool and never had the issue resolved.

Best San Diego House to rent

Excellent house to stay while in San Diego California, close to freeways, Sea World, San Diego Zoo, all beaches, close to all major shopping centres plus the local shops and loads of places to dine at. What a great getaway!

We were in town for SDCC and this location was absolutely perfect for our group! Far enough away from the traffic and noise, but close enough for all the fun San Diego offers! Close to groceries, coffee, and food, too! The layout of the house is so efficient for our group. The master has a tub so we were able to easily bathe our son, which we can't usuall do when staying at hotels. The pool was great and cool! They stocked everything you might need in a house, plus more!

Nice time in San Diego.

Very nice home which was close to everything that we wanted to do - zoo, Sesame Place, La Jolla, Birch Aquarium, Legoland, parks, restaurants, grocery stores. The very nice pool and accessories were wonderful! We enjoyed lots of time there. We appreciate the fact that recycling is alive and well there! Nice Getaway

This property is exactly as advertised. We had an incredible week of weather and were able to use the pool. There were a few minor cleaning issues(bbq was dirty as well as kitchen table) but other than that, we were happy with our stay!
