The home is nestled in the heart of San Diego in the historic Midtown neighborhood and is within walking distance or a 10 minute drive to some of San Diego’s top attractions including: Balboa Park, San Diego Zoo, Gaslamp Quarter, Waterfront Park, Midway Aircraft Carrier Museum, Seaport Village, Ocean Beach, San Diego Museum of Art, Old Town State Historic Park, the San Diego Bay, Harbor cruises and San Diego Whale Watching Cruises.

I wish I could give better ratings but it was extremely noisy while trying to relax outside. The airport flight path was so close you could literally see the copilot and the jet noise was deafening. The freeway is really close and very noisy as well. The property is well insulated so you don't hear the freeway noise while inside and the jet noise was muffled significantly, otherwise it’s a good rental.

This was a great home with all the amenities. We were able to walk to Balboa Park, Little Italy, and the Embarcadero. (we were a party of all adults). It is also under 2 miles from the airport, which is convenient, but there is no escaping that you are very close to the flight path. The owner is very responsive and we had a good time hanning out there in our down time.

This property is very clean and easy for a family. The beds were great and the outdoor space was comfortable. Walkable to restaurants and Little Italy. The only downside or upside, depending on perspective, is the proximity to airplane traffic. We enjoy planes, they are close, but with windows closed for sleep you won’t have issues. Host was very friendly,prompt and accommodating!

The property was just as listed. It was in a great neighborhood with awesome restaurants. It was close to the interstate so any days we wanted to go anywhere it was very quick. The owner was SUPER responsive and helpful. Would recommend and can’t wait to come back.

The property was super clean and spacious, and had thoughtful amenities. Walking distance to restaurants in Little Italy and to the waterfront. Like others mentioned, it is right in the landing path for the airport, but couldn’t hear them inside and we didn’t mind them sitting in the back yard and watching the planes while we sat around the lovely fire pit. Also we really appreciated having guaranteed parking! Had a little issue and the property management was super fast to respond. Towels are getting a little tired and had to jiggle the handle on the master toilet, but for the price, location, cleanliness and amount of space, would definitely stay again!!

Our family of 6, grandparents, parents, a toddler and an infant stayed at here from Friday till Monday. Upsides: Spacious three bedrooms, dinning and living space with A/C including parking. Communicative and welcoming host. Downside : NOISE Second bedroom We woke up from the noise of water running through the pipe above second bedroom at 4-4:20 am, every night. On top of that every time second bathroom is in-use, we can hear very loud inside of the second bedroom. Recommend not to use this room If you are a light sleeper or with small children. Third bedroom This room has the People were talking at 3 am till morning on Sat night. Main bedroom

Highly recommend. Well kept place with plenty of space for our family of four. The location is very convenient to Little Italy, Balboa Park, downtown, the airport and I-5. The host is very responsive. The only downside is being close to the airport's landing runway. When sitting outside it's fun to watch the planes go by, but it is noisy if that bothers you. We were fine with it. Inside is very quiet with windows closed.

Garret was quick to respond and help me book a last-minute family spring break getaway. The outdoor space was great for our pup and the firepit was perfect to enjoy the chilly night with a couple friends. The place was super clean, nicely furnished, and the perfect location to walk to Little Italy and a quick drive to Balboa Park, North Park, Hillcrest, and more. It is notable that it is on the flight path, so there are airplanes overhead on a pretty regular basis. But, if you are going to be out enjoying SD anyway, it won't be too much of a nuisance. The whole family enjoyed our stay at Garrett’s place. All the beds were comfy with great pillows!! That’s always very important to me. The house was very clean upon arrival. It would have been nice to have a TV in the bedroom to watch while relaxing, but definitely not a deal breaker. You’ll be just minutes from Little Italy. I definitely recommend exploring down there. The house is very close to SAN airport, right in the landing flight path to be exact. It’s a little noisy during the day, but plane traffic slows way down at night. No one had a problem sleeping at night because of the noise. Garrett did provide earplugs, but we didn’t need them. 10/10 would stay here again!!
