The property sits on a large plot of land separated from the surrounding community and shared with a couple of other hotels, so it feels very safe and is quiet. Quick drive to many restaurants and shopping (5-10 mins away). Quick drive to UCSD (10 mins away). Easy access to the highway, about a 5 min drive away. Clean and large rooms.

I ended up checking out a day early because the bed was so uncomfortable it hurt my back. When I asked the front desk person-Jessica if I could move rooms, she said they were full. Said sorry to hear that. Then she said maybe she could move me but alluded to the fact all the beds are the same. Let me be clear, I have traveled my entire life and that was the most uncomfortable bed I've ever slept on. My back hurt the next day from the bed. It felt like I was laying on springs, and it was slightly sunk in. Thankfully my timeshare was available. I checked out a day early and went there. Jessica gave me a 10 percent discount and parking. Said that when they purchased the beds it seemed to be more quantity over quality. The person who checked me in the night before was delightful. The breakfast selection was good. The room was nice. Unfortunately, I can never stay here again.

I was charged with an “accidental” fee because Sunday was an absolutely busy day for the hotel and they accidentally charged me for a pre billing fee which was inappropriate since I was not aware of this at all. I was verbally warned by the receptionist at the front desk that I would ONLY get charged once I CHECK OUT for the day. I was then charged twice and the receptionist said it was an accidental charge due to the business of the hotel. This did not make sense at all to me I was told I would received a full refund 4-5 days because I had given a debit card for them to charge from so I’m waiting for the refund for the second pointless charge I got

We are very happy with staying here at the Country Inn. The folks are very nice. The accommodations are very good. They helped us with a higher floor. The pool was heated. They fixed the remote that didn’t work, straight away. We have stayed here twice and we do recommend Country Inn. The breakfast is very good also.

Property was nice, very clean and a pretty good breakfast. A Starbucks and Jersey Mike’s was across the parking lot. The front desk gentleman was very nice and efficient. Though we remembered once we got to our room that we were supposed to receive two drinks an a room upgrade (if available) No surprise the next morning that the woman at the front desk informed us there were no upgraded rooms available. (Always seems to be the case doesn’t it?) When I grabbed two waters from the cooler after we ate, she leaned over a man she was assisting to tell us, “you need to pay for those!” before remembering she had told us earlier we could have them. Felt a little embarrassed to be dressed down in front of another guest; though I know she was probably doing what management wants when someone “grabs” something and it looks like they aren’t going to pay. But it was still a bit embarrassing.

This is my second time here and won’t be the last. It’s very convenient for me to travel to San Diego convention center and surrounded by nice areas and too many restaurants to count. The facilities room and great staff makes this stay here and others a very pleasant experience. This is my go to place to stay for my San Diego needs.

The hotel offered free parking and a CLEAN and QUIET nights stay. The staff were very professional and polite. Checked us in quickly, we reserved through Expedia. This was a very nice hotel and had a free breakfast which we did not partake in so we won't leave a review on that.

Hotel was ok but breakfast was limited and not as good as expected That said coffee and cookies at 3 was a nice touch I’d stay there again if my first choice wasn’t available

The rooms are nice. I really love the layout of the suites. The plumbing in my room was in terrible condition. The shower was leaking and the toilet ran constantly. The front desk promised me three times the toilet would be fixed but it never was.

Second time staying in this hotel and we loved it. Other than a false alarm that woke everyone up at 2am wich the staff did everything they could do to make sure everyone was ok. They let us sleep in a little longer for our checkout time due to our super early wake-up alarm.

Nice stay. Staff was very good. The room itself was showing a little wear and tear but I think they are in the process of updating some so that should get better. Breakfast was also good with a lot of choices. I would stay again.
