「Overall we had a great stay. The house is older and has weathered some storms but is fairly nice and served us well. Be prepared for lots of steps, which I'm sure is the case in any large beach house. We had 2 toddlers under 2 so it was a challenge to keep them off the steps. The gate from the top deck to the outside stairs desperately need to be replaced and some of the older deck furniture needs to be replaced but overall things were in pretty good shape. 「Very clean with cute decor and plenty of space! We enjoyed the house very much. My only comment would be that in the listing, it describes being a 3 min walk to OBX beaches. However, that is for the OBX Motel property which owns this house, and not this house itself. It was about a 7 min drive to the nearest beach from this property. Not a deal-breaker, but worth noting. Other than that, excellent property and property management. 」
