"J’ai été très déçu de mon séjour dans ce logement, qui a été une véritable montagne russe du début à la fin.
Il n’y avait aucun personnel sur place pour nous aider. Les serviettes présentaient des traces de saleté, il y avait des fourmis et des mouches un peu partout, et nous avons rencontré des problèmes d’approvisionnement en eau, qui était parfois brune.

"The unit was right above the bar and other entertainment common areas. It was loud till around 22:00. The hotel animator was loud and overdone.
Other than that, the ocean front was very shallow on the entire beach. Good for kids.
Our hosts were excellent and very helpful. The unit was spacious and clean and very comfortable.
Choose local off site restaurants rather than the buffet."

"The hotel is small, relatively new and built around a pleasant patio and small pool. Our balcony overlooked these. The hotel is about 2km from the closest beach and good restaurants so a car, while not essential, makes the trips more manageable."

"The staff was helpful ,however the space wasn't what they were selling in the posting photos .A small room filled with stuff. Mismatch bedding. And location so far from the airport.
Any way very disappointing . 8"

We arrived after check-in time but the manager was waiting to take us to our room and give us our welcome rum punch drinks. The room was neat and clean and had everything we wanted. The next morning we walked onto the spacious balcony and were greeted with a magnificent vista that included a view of Caribbean waves breaking on a rock formation, lush vegetation and a vista that went on for miles. My husband and I celebrated Christmas and his 50th birthday at this wonderful hotel nestled just outside Ste. Anne, a quiet retreat from the noisier resorts. From there, it was easy to make day trips in our rental car (a necessity) around Grand-Terre and Basse-Terre. The hotel is charming and immaculate, and most of the rooms are quiet bungalows with jungle views. Ste. Anne and Ste. Francois are easy drives for meals, but we spent several meals dining at the hotel's restaurant, Mango. You...

We stayed at La Toubana in July 2017. The staff was very welcoming and the restaurant even provided dinner for us on our first night even though we arrived past closing due to a 7 hour flight delay. The amenities are beautiful with comfortable loungers at both the pool and beach. Food is excellent. Our room was a stunning two story condo type room up on the hill. Easy free parking and we felt very safe. The staff was also very accommodating to our lack of French speaking skills which I had...

What a great set up! 3 restaurants, 2 Bars, 2 Private Beaches, 2 Private pools! Awesome! The management team, went above and beyond for me! They didn’t have to do half of the stuff they did for me. Julian and Laurence, I can’t say enough. Thank you again, you make a solo traveler feel at home with not knowing any English. See you and the team soon. TY

This place is perfect for worldly travelers with children. We rented a 2 bedroom apartment. It came with a small, well equipped kitchenette on the veranda. Perfect for cooking meals with spectacular sunset views and star gazing. Housekeeping services were provided with towel exchanges in the middle of the week. The villa for our 6 person group was perfect - large and the decor was lovely. Kitchen was modern and well-equipped. Everything was very clean. Private pool is small. Restaurant dinner fare was delicious. Staff were helpful and many spoke English. Room refresh must be requested. Carrefore grocery is a short 6 minute drive (closed Sundays). Would absolutely stay again.

Nice place with full air condition. The written WIFI code is a wrong code so do not waste your time using it. You can call the guy to give the correct code. The place has no kitchen. I was initially under the impression that it got one. Generally, I like the place because I got enough area to do my walking exercises and I can easily catch buses to do my business.

We had a very pleasant week at Habitation Du Compte. The restaurant is quite good. Chef Anthony prepared a gourmet Valentine's Day dinner. The hotel is clean and comfortable and it's just a short drive to some of the beautiful beaches on Guadeloupe. The nearby town of Sainte Rose nearby has several good restaurants as does Deshaies a further drive away.
