Clean room

This is like my tenth time visiting this hotel. I often visit here when I need somewhere to unwind. Each time feels better than the first time. My teenage daughter loves to hang out here, with me and her best friend . There are plenty of stores, restaurants and a movie theater. It is safe so they shop and hang out. “Hyatt we say”!!!!

My experience started off terribly. I called ahead specifically to ask about the check-in process, but nobody informed me that the $100 security deposit had to be paid using a physical card. I had the funds available on my credit card through Apple Wallet, but tap-to-pay was not accepted. I arrived around 11 PM after driving five hours, only to be told I couldn’t check in. I was left waiting until approximately 6 AM, when the security deposit was suddenly reduced from $100 to $55. Had this requirement been communicated during my phone call, I could have made other arrangements and avoided losing an entire night. To make matters worse, the first room the attendant attempted to assign me was not the room I had reserved and paid for, and it was dirty. I had to wait until 6 AM to finally receive the room I actually booked. As a single mother spending my own hard-earned money and traveling with my children, I was extremely distraught. After a five-hour drive, the last thing I expected was to spend seven hours dealing with preventable check-in issues. By the time I finally got into the correct room, I was so exhausted that all I could do was sleep. My first night was essentially wasted. I understand hotels have policies, but guests deserve clear communication, consistency, and the room they paid for. This experience was exhausting, frustrating, and far below my expectations. Unfortunately, it was a terrible first impression.
