"We were warned by many wrt Merseille being the most dangerous city in Europe and we should not visit. We're from NYC and we've seen worse traveling other cities. The hotel is one of the best in Merseille. We're glad we choose it over others. We expected a modern luxury experience and it did not disappoint. Friendly staff. Walking distance to many tourist sites. Breakfast with one of the best view in the city. And the city is safer than hyped. Especially in the hotel. "

"Great location close to old town, vieux port, and a variety of restaurants. The location also allowed for a quick and easy tram (subway) ride the the train station. "

"Charming "Frenchiness", well preserved building with tasteful interior design; not "boutiqued". Well located in a lively neighborhood, still a quiet register once in the hotel.
