"We loved our weekend getaway! Remote location, we enjoyed exploring some nearby trails, looking for wildlife tracks, and wading at the swimming hole. The driving directions were very helpful and while SUV would likely be beneficial on some of the roads, our Subaru Outback did just fine. Accommodations were as described and beds were comfortable. I really enjoyed drinking my coffee while watching the sunrise and my toddler play in the living room."

"The cabin is an ideal retreat for two with a stunning view of the river. We enjoyed sitting on the deck drinking coffee with breakfast in the morning, snacking a quick bite outdoors for lunch, and grilling steaks on the deck with a Bud for him and a glass of wine for me at dinner. Fishermen in their boats drifting by, water birds and eagles soared above the river, and song birds twittered in the trees. Indoors was comfortable and cozy. One night we watched a storm roll in from over the mountains...

"I’ve stayed at this cabin a few times now. It’s in a great location if you want to be close to the Buffalo River. Cell service is spotty, which is really a blessing as I get away from my phone and enjoy reading or sitting on the porch. David is an excellent host!"

"This was my second visit to the cabin, and like the first, I enjoyed every minute there. I returned to work on wrapping up the novel I started last year, and the peace and quiet in this lovely setting was everything I needed. Bonus: I was there for the unexpected northern lights flare, and without any light pollution, I caught some amazing images on my phone! Great cabin—clean, comfortable, and cozy—and wonderful hosts. I will definitely return!"

"Loved the cabin and loved the care that Sheri put into it. It felt like home. Be sure to check out the books in the sunroom, we found some amazing waterfalls and will be purchasing that book to better plan our trip back. Even made use of the hiking sticks and were glad we had them. Cabin was clean and well stocked for our needs...even had plenty of quality toilet paper, not the cheap stuff most cabins use. Thank you, Sheri, for sharing your beautiful cabin with us!"
