"What a gem of a find, we stayed for one night whilst travelling from England to Spain. We was warmly greeted on arrival and went straight into the pool after a very long day. The host then prepared a fantastic 3 course home cooked meal with wine. Room was spacious, clean and bed comfy, with a wonderful views over the vineyards. "Our experience at Demeure Flore was exceptional and one of a kind. Fracesco welcomed us warmly and made us the best meal of our trip which we enjoyed in his lovely garden nestled in the French countryside. Our room was spacious and sparkling clean and it was like finding an oasis after a few long days of travel. The only sad thing was we were only able to stay one night. We hope to return some day. "Great pool, nice big unit for the five of us, and great end unit overlooking a field. Didn't feel that clean, however, an it was a little buggy (ants obviously, might have seen a mouse dropping under the sink, not 100% sure there weren't bedbugs or fleas or something else) but some of that can be due to being surrounded by nature as it was. As I said, the pool area was great, and the snack bar was a definite plus. Good location for exploring Carcassonne."

"Hotel is around 40 mins up a hill from the centre of Carcassone and public transport to get there isn’t good. There isn’t much around there so if you don’t have a car be prepared to get a lot of steps in. The room itself could do with a renovation. "
