ライド のB&B

「ライドから３番のバスで10分くらいの場所にあり、バス停のほぼ目の前なので便利でした。バスは30分に１本程度のようですが、グーグルマップによるとライドまで徒歩30分以内のようです。Rosemary Vineyardというワイナリーがホテルの近くにあります。ホテルの近くに夜１０時まで開いている商店があり、水を買ったり重宝しました。可愛らしい部屋で清潔に掃除されていたので、とても快適に過ごせました。ただ、シャワーの水が流れにくいので、水が溜まって足元はヒタヒタでした。ご夫婦で経営されている宿で朝食は基本的に8:30でお願いしているようです。チェックイン時間前に荷物を預かってもらおうとライドのフェリーターミナルから電話をしましたが、誰も出なかったのでそのまま荷物をもって観光しました。チェックイン時間について電話がかかってきて「少し出かけるから〇時以降にしてほしい」と言われました。全般的に快適に過ごす事ができました。」

「英国チチェスター駅で予約したら、車で1時間もかかり、しかもフェリーに乗らなければ行けない所にあるホテルでした。結局、ホテルへは行けませんでした。この詳細は、予約時のホームページには記載されていませんでした。予約の前に、確認出来れば良かったのですが、ホテル代は、今の所返還されていません。皆さん、気をつけましょう。」

「Very quaint and clean with a perfect pub attached. The staff are very helpful and pleasant. A bit out of town but still a great location near a park and the river to walk. Train station in Glen Abbey is walkable. It was a bit chilly when we arrived but the room warmed up nicely」

「Yes the rooms are outdated, however, it was perfect for our one night stay. It was clean and quiet. I would easily stay for a weekend! The staff was super friendly and helpful. The elevator was out of service, so we did get help with our luggage. Highly recommend it and there was plenty of great free parking on the property. I think they are working on making some updates to the place, which would be fantastic!」

「Lovely accommodation in a pretty, quiet village. Pub closed on Mondays and Tuesdays, so needed to drive or a 20 minute walk to find somewhere to eat. There is a nice village shop across the road. The pub breakfast and dinner were both good on Wednesday. Tbh it was really nice to be somewhere so quiet and peaceful and it seems many restaurants are closed on Mondays and Tuesdays in IOW. Would recommend, especially if you have a car. Owners helpful and easily reached on Whatsapp. Good walks nearby.」
