Room was nice and big. Shelves under bathroom sink need a thorough clean and behind the radiator was quite dusty (I’m asthmatic) but other than that the room was great. The water gets really really hot in the shower but I imagine that the water in the hot springs heats the showers so just something to be aware of especially if you have a baby or young child with you.

The hot pool was just lovely and the room was very clean and tidy with some lovely curtains, linen and blankets. Unfortunately there are quite a few areas of disrepear in the room which could do with some fixing. Also perhpas looking into ensuring emergency meeting area informaiton is available in the room.

Stay.

Wouldn’t stay there again because of the long term residents on the property which made our group feel unsafe. Wifi was advertised but it didn’t reach our area which was a problem for international travelers. Front desk were accommodating by giving us credit to top up data on the one NZ phone we had which was great. Would be a great cheap place to stay for 10+ people if it was a safer area.

We were late to check in and staff was very accommodative. Much appreciated. Price for the stay was cheap and we know it comes with the tag. We got a bigger house instead of two rooms we actually booked. The house was untidy, had cockroaches. There was no hot water in the night from the point we checked in and came next morning. Heaters did not work, so gave us coupe of portable heaters. Overall, we were disappointed.

Worst unexpected experience!!! The place was not clean at all, rubbish wasn’t cleared from the room, dirty bedspread, mouldy cupboard with cockroaches roaming, toilets closet really dirty with poo. I had to find another motel to stay as we couldn’t stand the uncleanliness. The lady at the site mentioned about refunding the amount which we haven’t received even after a week nor any further communication from their side.

It was good value for money. The staff were friendly. The bed and shower were good, the two essentials I required for the night. The room was warm. Tea and coffee were provided along with a jug to boil the water. Unfortunately there were no cups.

Had 4 toilet rolls for 11 people over 3 days. Advertised with wifi and sky. None. Wifi was only in one villa. Cold. Had 2 five bar oil heaters to heat a 2 storey. Internal heating was not connected.

To make sure sheets and bed linen are clean. We had blood on our pillow cases,and insects and ae cockroach in our bed. Used Sanitary pads and underwear by the heated pool.

I liked the feel of the property. Many say it’s a hole. I say not. I have been back again and will keep going back. A little TLC could be had. But adds to the character. And the helpful service staff make you over look this.

This property should be shut down. The worst part was the attitude of the female manager. Abusive to her partner and rude to customers. Premises disgusting. Room dirty. No milk. No carpark for me. Only one towel for two people. Shower didnt work. Refused to swap our room. Could hear yelling and loud traffic most of the night. Stayed one night of two booked only because we arrived to late to book elsewhere. Actually felt unsafe. Truly a harrowing experience and Im generally pretty easy to please.

On arrival we were told they had no record of our booking they changed their minds when i showed them the Expedia voucher they then told us that they had booked another couple into our booked unit but gave us a bigger unit for the same price once we managed to open the main door which was jambed thru timber warp we found the floor sloped down the shower had mildew and on leaving we noticed there were cockroaches on the walls! Nobody was in recption so we left the unit open and popped key into their letterbox

Mould in bathroom, with bugs coming out of the shower drain and was unable to rinse shampoo out of hair as water became increasingly scalding hot, tempering valve not working. No plug for hand basin meant could not have manual wash either. We checked out but payment had been made on booking, this place should be condemned! Guy we gave keys to knew of the issues yet they still advertise.

Central location, fresh mineral small hot pool. Only 1 pool operating, not like pictures or any other indication online. It's obvious other pools have been unused for some time. If just replaced bathroom flooring & freshen up some of the paint in the bathroom, it would get a tidy rating. Reception guy was friendly and helpful. Nice warm room. Clean linen. I guess, overall, you pay for what you get / don't get!
