Nice place to stay

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Londonhouse! It’s in a perfect location and walking distance to many CTA bus stops, which helped immensely with us being able to get around! Despite being in a heavy traffic area, there were no noise disturbances. The room and bathroom were super clean as well! Will definitely be staying here the next time we are in Chicago!

The staff were amazing. The hotel was clean. The amenities time restricted and we didn’t get to participate in any of them as it was more of a 3pm-7pm. During those times most people are out on Michigan Ave. I know the property is in renovation but as a “resort” I would have expected a bit more. They should have said they were renovating and limited amenities going on. Would I stay here again, probably. I know the staff doesn’t have control over what corporate does and they are the main reason I would go back. They were extremely nice and welcoming. Always smiling and just very friendly people.

First off it was very unprofessional when I arrived after making a reservation beforehand just to arrive with my bags and they handed me a walk letter and told me to check my email because they were over booked and gave my room away. Then they offered to send me to another Hotel way away from the Pier which is the reason I had chosen the Wade hotel in the first place. And they had sent me a email 3 hours before my arrival if I had known they gave my room away I could of just stayed home instead of taking the long drive and dealing with all the traffic just to be told to go to another hotel with no amenities in the middle of nowhere closer to the City more so than downtown Chicago. So I went to the other hotel which had garbage sitting outside and nothing nearby. So I just left because that is not what I came downtown Chicago for. I could have got dressed at home just paid for parking and enjoyed the festivities especially the Taste of Chicago and Navy Pier. Well so much for that. We ended up driving right back home no Taste until Next year, no Navy Pier or anything else just a long ride, tired just to be told that my room was no longer available. With this hotel make sure you call before you take the trip to make sure your room is still available because you will be disappointed, frustrated and humiliated trust me. I’ve never had a experience like this before and I hope I never do again..
