This owner confirmed my stay and then cancelled on me last minute and did not refund my deposit. They stated this building had been closed and that I should not have been able to book it...

Host cancelled reservation day of - left high and dry

Host was horrible who never provided access or instructions and cancelled day of leaving us high and dry in Rome. Not ok, we should be compensated for the stress to find and spend way more for another place in Rome last minute.

Good Location, close to Metro, nice owner

But…has some serious maintenance issues. The refrigerator door doesn’t close or seal properly. The freezer ice was so built up, it was impossible to make ice. The dishwasher has been unusable for a long time. The door was taped shut with old tape. The washer machine door doesn’t open properly. You have to fiddle around with it. It took a couple days before we figured out the trick. I’m not entirely convinced the unit was properly sanitized either. There were a few weird stains in the bed covers that we couldn’t wash out. When we arrived, the bathrooms were not clean. We ended up having to do a thorough bathroom cleanup before useing. Hair in corners, and p&$p on underside of toilet seats. Although the unit looks lovely on line, beware….the pics are old. The unit is dingy and in need of a good thorough clean and maintenance job. Until everything is fixed, I wouldn’t waste my money. There’s lots of other unit’s in the same price range that are clean and well maintained.

Terrible rental. Don't stay here!!!

I sent Daniele a message which he never answered.There were so many problems with his rental.Things didn't work,or were broken(large window in bedroom onto balcony,)or dirty(not sure Covid precautions were taken,)not even sure bedding had been washed for us.This place should not have been listed for renting until the owner fixed dishwasher,broken shelf in bathroom,uneven shower heat,broken window,hairdryer not working,light over stove not working,washing machine on second balcony where cleaning lady left her bucket!No instructions for using anything electronic including coffee maker,not enough towels,dirty around toilets and on floor by shower door.This rental was terrible!!! Don't waste your money on this place!We were told we could check in earlier and so took a cab there.Got there and cleaning lady still working so we were left standing around waiting for her to finish up.Owner asked if he could send someone up to fix the window after we checked in which was unacceptable.Should have been done prior to us checking in.Again, don't stay here.It's a rip off!!!
