A return trip to Rome with family (including teens) for 1 week in this location was just right. We were able to find transportation to and from all the major sites; either by wheel, rail, or foot.
The layout gives enough space for 3 couples, or in our case, 2 teens plus parents.
The kitchen is well equipped and suited our needs.
Both washer and dryer worked well. Be prepared for a little learning on these- the dryer is a ductless, in the kitchen; the washer is on the balcony. It sounds like it wouldn’t make sense, but it works and wasn’t a difficult thing to work with. If you’ve never worked with these before, do a little googling before jumping in. We learned the hard way.
Food and staples are easy to get from the grocer that is at the corner. Reasonable prices and selection.
Check in and out was super simple.
Paolo was able to set us up with a very reasonable transport for our early morning FCO flight- you won’t find anything better, just take the offer.
Only cons I would say are:
the bedroom on the back left (white walls) can get a little noisy at night. Not terrible, but noticeably noisier than the courtyard side rooms (yellow and purple).
The bathrooms had a slight odor to them in the morning - after some ventilation fans, it was manageable.
These are things that are part of the building, and out of the control of the apartment holder- so we worked with it :)
I would recommend, this was a far better experience than the last three trips we had to Rome
