Pantheon Apartment

Very clean, AC worked beautifully in the almost 100 degree heat. No more than 100 steps to the Pantheon. Absolutely the perfect location. We only took a taxi once and that was to Vatican City.

Wonderful location and host. We stayed in after a cruise and Gian met us early to drop luggage. Steps from Pantheon and within walking distance to most every site we wanted to go to. Place was incredible in size and had all modern conveniences as well as a lift. Busy and noisy street but quiet when windows were closed. We stayed first week of June and didn’t need air condition. Would highly recommend and have already done so. Will stay again when in Rome.

Just WOW!

The host, Gian, is incredibly kind and helpful. He is very prompt to answer questions in the VRBO chat and full of recommendations.The apartment is very well-appointed with everything you need. The beds are hard, but I was still very comfortable. The shower pressure is wonderful!Let’s talk location- amazing!! So many wonderful areas and top tourist stops are 1-15 minute walk. There are several delicious restaurants & gelaterias within 5 minutes.We only had 3 days, and it was HOT! So we didn’t have sufficient time to do all in Rome we wanted to do. We will definitely visit again, and we would absolutely stay here again.

Gian was very helpful and accommodating. It had plenty of room for our family of 5 and the location was terrific- walk out the front door and see the Pantheon!

The location was fabulous. Apartment was comfortable with temperature. Not a location to wash clothes mid travel as washer dryer takes about 5-6 hours per load. The beds are really really hard. Host always available. Apartment was really clean, however, extreme amounts of mold in ceiling above the master shower. Wifi worked well.

Perfect location in Rome

We had a great time in Rome based on staying in this apartment. The location was so convenient to be in walking distance to all the major sites. There were plenty of restaurants right outside of the front door and only a few steps to the Pantheon. If there was a downside to the apartment, the beds were a tad too hard, but it did not take away from the hospitality that was provided.

Great location!

Wonderful spacious apartment in a perfect location. Literally can see the pantheon from the window. 3rd floor. Master very quiet. Beds firm.Comfortable for up to 6 guests. Gian easy to deal with. VRBO platform a bit clunky.

Fantastic apartment and location!!

This was the perfect apartment for our family of 4 (“kids” are 18 and 22)! The apartment was spacious and comfortable, in a fantastic location right by the Pantheon, had a lift/elevator, and the air conditioning worked great on hot summer days! Gian was an excellent host, was great at communicating, and took time to show us how things worked and gave a few recommendations in the neighborhood. I would absolutely stay here again!

Great location next to the Pantheon!

Gian welcomed us to the apartment and gave us all the indications. We went in December, we had a good heater, hot water and comfortable bed. We had great cappuccinos in the morning before we left the apartment. Around the property there are great coffee shops/restaurants. Great location, walking distance to see popular attractions main one Trevi Fountain!, use google maps to help. If you prefer taxis/uber, walk behind the apartment for the stop. For my kids, WIFI worked super well to compensate for no TV in the apartment. But who cares about TV when you are in ROME!

This place is amazing!

Truly incredible. Gian was so kind and helpful from start to finish. The location can't be beat. Nice to have A/C, as it was very warm in Rome during our stay. Huge apartment with plenty of room. Excellent value. Felt like family during our stay. Highly recommended!

Highly recommend

This was our second time renting from the host and as with the first time it was an awesome experience. Gian is accommodating and helpful. I experienced some health issues during our trip and he checked on me everyday and provided guidance on where to seek medical assistance when needed. I highly recommend this apartment and always look to rent from Gian. It’s a home away from home when we are in Rome.

Wonderful Time at The Pantheon

Our stay at the Pantheon was perfect. Right in the middle of everything, yet on a small street. We couldn’t have asked for more, the apartment was spacious, kitchen well equipped and our host was well equipped. One thing that may need attention is the apartment was in need of fresh pillows on the beds.

Perfect location, amazing host!

The location couldn’t have been any better. Right next to the Pantheon. Restaurants everywhere. Very quiet despite being in such a core area. Easy to walk everywhere and get a taxi next to the Pantheon for longer journeys. The host, Gian, is great and very helpful. You can easily reach him for help and concerns. Highly recommend this place.

Lovely apartment in the best location!

This apartment is spacious, cool (even in the height of summer) and quiet - all in a fantastic, really central location. Having two (nice new) bathrooms when travelling with teenagers is a definite bonus! Having a lift was useful for moving cases. The apartment had everything we needed, plus some lovely art on the walls! Gian was super helpful, and offered a warm welcome, thank you. The apartment is really central, so we could walk everywhere easily and so close to the Pantheon, it's incredible! We would definitely book again - just need an excuse to return!...

Location, Location, Location

The apartment is in an absolutely superb location, within sight of the Pantheon and amongst the bars and restaurants of the area. Somehow though it remained an oasis of quiet and calm amongst the hubbub, even in the twin room overlooking the street. It was also nice and cool. Some comments have said the decor and furnishings are tired, but this is reflected in the price given the location, and it was immaculately clean. Luxury it is not but, it is a perfect base and more than adequate and simply huge! . A lot of comments have said the beds are rock hard. This is personal preference, and personally I would not want a soft enveloping mattress in 30 degree outside heat. Communications with Gian were a bit slow to start with but he was having issues with the VRBO app and once we realised we needed to allow a bit longer for a response this was fine. Gian welcomed us personally and made some very good recommendations for restaurants and the best piece of advice, to relax and not feel under pressure to see every last sight as Rome is a living museum - just live it!. He very kindly let us check out late as we had an evening flight. Rome can be stressful, but between the location, the excellent air con, the space and Gians knowledgeable advice this apartment made for the ideal base . Would stay again in a heartbeat.

Best Apartment in Rome

I cannot recommend this apartment enough. It was our first time in Rome and the apartment is situated right in the middle of the best tourist attractions. You can take public transit (bus stop is an easy 4 min walk away) or walk to most places within 20 minutes. There's 2 supermarkets located right across the square, so it's easy to stock up on groceries. There's an elevator in the building which makes the process of hauling luggage up so much easier. Definitely recommend this apartment for a family!

Great location

The place is spacious and in a great location. Appreciated the toilet paper, dish soap, and laundry detergent, etc. Generally well stocked with essentials. The washer and dishwasher both worked fine! (There is no dryer.) We stayed as a family of 4... there was plenty of space for all of us, we appreciated the two bathrooms, and felt safe in the building. Even being in the center of the city the windows did a good job of blocking noise at night. The mattresses are not the most comfortable but we managed ok for the week. The shower in the main bedroom has an extreme amount of black mold - I would be cautious if you have asthma, respiratory problems, etc. Also, the air unit in the main bedroom was blowing black dirt/mold out of it so we didn't use it and just cracked the windows for air circulation. It was not hot while we were there, so we did not require the use of the air conditioner. The host was very nice and responsive. He also helped arrange transport to the airport- the driver was also very nice and prompt! Overall, the place is generally clean and well-stocked and it's in an amazing location. The host was nice and responsive, but there are definitely some mold issues that are present.
