This property was great except that the elevator was not working. We had to carry 2 large suitcases up and down 5 flights of stairs upon arrival and departure. This also was very inconvenient after a long day of sight seeing.

Great Place to stay in Rome

The room is small like all in Italy, but is imazingly organize and the decor is really nice to the smallest detail, the hosts valeria and Stephania are imazing thay gave us tips to dine, tours, etc.

The host is very accommodating and will proactively message you on WhatsApp to help you get in comfortably. The room is clean and will have room service daily. The TV and wifi is set up already. Great attention to detail.

This is a beautiful property which I would have rated five stars if there had been a lift in operation. The four flights were difficult to navigate. Thank goodness for staff member Maria, who carried the big luggage up and down for us. I am 78 and would not have stayed here had I been aware that the elevator was not operational. However, the facility is absolutely charming, Stephania was friendly, helpful, and delightful to deal with. If you're young and in good shape, stay here . . . it's a lovely facility.

Beautiful accommodations and a wonderful hotelier. Valeria was sweet, helpful, quick to respond to our questions and made wonderful recommendations on places to eat. There is a lovely sitting area where you can enjoy a cup of coffee, fill your water bottle and collect your thoughts. Many food options nearby as well as a Metro station. Easy walking distance to the Vatican. We used a cab to access the historic district as those sites are farther away. There are renovations happening on the grounds and courtyard which prevented us from enjoying them. The elevator was also under construction and we could not use it. We had a safe in our room and all entrances to the property, building and floor required an access code. This made us feel very comfortable. The rooms were cleaned daily and having WiFi access made it easy to stay in touch with home and research our tours and restaurants. Having so many places to choose from and being first time travelers to Rome, we were very pleased.

The room is newly designed. It would of been a pleasant stay based on location and accessibility, especially with the way New Saint Peter was advertised... unfortunately there were many points as to why it was a bit disappointing. We advanced booked 2 seperate stays. On the first stay, after the first night, the air conditioner did not work. On the second stay, on the first night the air conditioner started leaking soaking the floor. In general, as well, we were not informed that the place being stayed at was under construction and that elevator was out of service despite being up 3 flights of stairs with luggage (*note for those disabled or with wheelchair). We were only informed after the booking was unrefundable. We asked for a refund for the second stay as we wanted to change our mind, but was not allowed.

I cannot fault anything about New Design St. Peter. I am so so glad I made the choice to stay here with my husband during our weekend to Rome. The staff is incredible warm and helpful. We communicated mainly through Whatsapp to coordinate self-checkin, self-checkout, and recommendations of where to eat in Rome. Everything was seamless. One of the owners Stefania is such a kind, lovely and classy human being. The location is also unbeatable. It's a beautiful neighborhood with excellent food within 15-minute walks.

New Design St. Peter is in an excellent location and safe area. Felt safe walking even in the wee hours of the morning or late at night. Walking distance to Vatican Museum, St. Peter's Basilica and Metro A station and other tourist areas. The area has lots of nearby restaurants. The room is clean and descent in size. Highly recommended!

Gute Position in der Nähe von Vatican, ruhiges Quartier. Wir hatten ein Zimmer für 4 Personen. Das Zimmer war nicht gross, aber gut eingerichtet. Wasserkocher anwesend im Zimmer. WLAN funktionierte nicht gut. Badetücher knapp für 4 Personen. Preis-Leistung ein wenig teuer für ein Guest House.
