For major tourist sites, it's very well located. Good supermarket around the corner. Some great restaurants very close, try DanEl Tavernae for sure. Walked everywhere so can't comment on public transportation
Everything in the apartment was pretty new and worked well. Good collection of dishes, etc. No dryer but that seems to be a standard in Italy. Bathroom around the shower could use a little work, but nothing to get concerned about.
I rate the bed a very firm, you may want to remake with a comforter underneath the bottom sheet. Pillows and linens were new and of good quality. Didn't use the pull out. Ample closet/storage space.
There's an apartment above and given tile floors, you're going to hear their every step. Some street noise from scooters and glass collection.
There's a terrace off the kitchen where I enjoyed a nightly cigarillo. It's not of much use for anything else tho as it faces the wall of another building.
Finer details: couldn't find any English TV stations, the little radio didn't work, could use some more color or pictures tho' some flowers from Campo de' Fiore fixed that right up. Used the offered driver service from the airport and highly recommend it.
When we return we'll probably looks someplace else for variation, top floor, and view (and expect to pay more) but this was a fine place to stay.
