Parking was behind a large mechanical gate which did not always work. Could sometimes be noisy outside in the evening due to college clientele. Had to park on the street most of the time because of gate issues.

The Angad Arts Hotel is St Louis' best kept secret! The Art is great! The artful rooms are great! The Staff are great and helpful and friendly! The 12th Floor Penthouse Lounge and outdoor deck are the best! The Art Bar/Restaurant on Floor 1 is great for breakfast - the most friendly wait/servers I've ever met.

Pros: The room was clean, bright, fresh, and comfortable. The bathrooms were lovely and the water pressure was excellent. Breakfast was hearty and delicious with many choices, and the seasonal fresh fruit was actually seasonal--berries, mellons, nectarines, etc. (Not just bananas!) Cons: The bathroom door squeaked which was distracting in the middle of the night. The light from the hallway came in through the door, also a bit distracting at night. Staff were for the most part excellent. Upon our arrival, the front desk attendant told us that while there were only King bed rooms available the first night, he assured us that he had reserved a room with two queen beds for our second night. The next morning, we were packed and ready to move into the other room, but the woman at the desk said there were no double queen bed rooms available or reserved for us. She told us that she called her manager but he did not pick up. We saw her "call" twice. Apparently, that was a lie, because when we returned to the hotel that night, the manager was at the desk, and he told us he had NOT been called. He was very understanding and gave us a second room as compensation.
