Clean room. Helpful staff. Close to shops, hospital and parklands and great food.

The breakfast was pricey. That’s my only complaint.

The room was fine, clean, tidy, good fittings etc, and the house-keeping and foyer staff teams were great. The breakfast was expensive for what it was, in my opinion, and the pool looked like it had not been cleaned for a while. There were boxer shorts at the boolttom of the pool and wound dressing, plasters, around the pool that were there for the 3 days I attended the pool. I stopped using the pool as i attended the third time as I noted again that the wound plasters were still there, and the water had gone murky. The gym was ok for a hotel facility but there was some issues with a couple of pieces of equipment. And on departure we were overcharged for parking despite having had conversations with staffers on 2 occasions to have this rectified. All-in-all not a bad place to stay, but it could have been better.

Breakfast was great, staff friendly & courteous, however the Spa Suite Rooms I regularly stay in are starting to look a little tired & outdated now & in need of some TLC, such as renewing the tired & stained carpet in room & bathroom could do with an upgrade. Spa Suite Rooms are spacious but oddly enough only contain a small flat screen TV set, so much so that the TV set looks out of place & like it was an afterthought. I have stayed in numerous other Hotel rooms in Adelaide CBD that have smaller rooms but contain a larger TV screen than what the Stamford Plaza Spa Suite has.

Lawerence/Lauren was terrific! So helpful and friendly. I just hope I spelled his name right. We travelled as a family of 5 and had connected rooms with a shared entrance so we could easily commute between rooms but still have privacy.
