The main floor features an oversized great room showcasing custom-crafted furniture, wooden beams, and stair railings crafted from real trees. A striking floor-to-ceiling stone fireplace serves as the centerpiece, while a handcrafted dining table invites guests to gather and enjoy meals together. Downstairs, the family room offers a lively space for fun and entertainment. With a pool table and plenty of seating, it's the perfect spot for friendly competition and group activities. For larger groups, Bison Lodge can be paired with neighboring Liberty Lodge, ensuring ample space to accommodate everyone while maintaining a sense of connection. Bison Lodge is a unique getaway where thoughtful design and natural beauty come together to create memories that will last a lifetime.

Bison Lodge is an off-property lodge in Rockbridge, a short 2 minute drive to Cantwell Cliffs and 12 minutes from Rockbridge State Nature Preserve boasting the largest natural rock bridge in the state. Located in the north portion of the Hocking Hills, Bison Lodge provides convenient access to area attractions, with most trails only 2-25 minutes away by car. Just 20 minutes from The Inn & Spa at Cedar Falls, including Kindred Spirits, the spa and the gift shop. The nearest town is Logan a 15 minute drive for your last minute shopping needs. For larger groups you can pair Bison with neighboring Liberty Lodge connected by a mowed field path between the lodges.

Bison Lodge Cabin

We had a great stay for our first visit to Hocking Hills! We were there with family - 4 adults, 5 teens and a 5 year old. The cabin was beautiful, clean, had everything we needed (and more!), and plenty of room to fit us all comfortably! Owners were great about answering questions and giving tips on what to do in the area.

Our family throughly enjoyed our short stay at the Pine Lodge. The inside was completely equipped with everything and our family from age 2 to 82 enjoyed the beautiful cabin. We made some great memories and we will definitely be back

Great Stay at Bison

The home was everything we were hoping for when we booked it. We assumed that it was close to the Inn and Spa at Cedar Falls. This made it a little longer to drive to the places we wanted to hike. The beds are very firm. Overall, we would book this place again.

Fun with friends/family

Everyone enjoyed their stay. Very functional space. Hot tub very nice! Only a couple downsides: beds extremely firm which led to sleepless night for a handful of us and the fire pit area was a mud pit so we just did a fire in the inside hearth. Might be a good idea to put rocks down around that region with a path so it could be used even during the wet seasons.
