Lovely week in Rivedoux-Plage

Had a great week here. Well located for Rivedoux-Plage and a quick walk to the patisserie and bike hire. A bit far to cycle to beaches on the west coast but driving on these day was a good excuse to stock up on wine from the local vineyards! Great communication and instructions from the agent.

A week in Rivedoux-Plage

The property is well located in Rivedoux-Plage, which is the first village that you reach after crossing the bridge. It is ideal for a family. The pool was very useful to cool off in the hot afternoons. Rivedoux-Plage is a little quieter than other villages on the island but there are some good bakery and dining options. The beaches are quite nice and the bike paths to other parts of the island are very accessible. We had a great time during our stay and will definitely return.

Excellent home for a family holiday

Excellent communication with the host. The house was immaculate when we arrived and greeted upon arrival. Fantastic location close to shop and beach. House was a good size for 4 adults and 1 child with a bedroom to spare! Pool was clean and a good size

Great spot for a family holiday.

Fantastic property, exactly as it is described. We travelled with a baby, 4 & 7 year olds and everyone loved it there. The pool was a big hit and the kids would have spent all their time there! The kitchen was very well equipped for eating at home and we used the plancha too. The house has lots of space for a family, the beds were all comfortable, the water pressure in the showers was amazing, always hot water. The Wi-Fi was very good and A/C a super bonus! The property is well within walking distance of Rivedeaux Plage with some lovely spots for food and great butchers and bakery. An unexpected surprise that the kids absolutely loved were the geckos in the garden, searching for them was a daily activity! We went for a walk in the pine forest beside the house which was very enjoyable, we found grapes, anthills, grasshoppers, some gigantic pine cones and lots of beautiful butterflies. Renting bikes is a must on the Ile de Re and we found a place online that did a delivery and collection service to the house. We really enjoyed our stay and wouldnt hesitate in recommending this property. We hope to visit again in the future!

Très bon séjour

belle propriété, villa fonctionnelle et très bien équipée. piscine extra. Néanmoins, nous avons rencontré quelques désagréments qui sont surement provisoires , à savoir : écoulement d'eau le long d'un mur de la cuisine provenant de la douche située au rez-de-chaussée; odeur nauséabonde dans la cuisine du sous-sol surtout le soir surement due à la fuite d'eau, obligé d'aérer; le mélangeur de l'évier de la cuisine au sous-sol qui n'était plus fixe. Il manque un peu d'entretien de la propriété.

Maison très agréable, absolument conforme à la description. Rien à redire sur la procédure d'accueil. Impeccable pour un séjour à 8 sur l'Ile de Ré. Idéalement situé proche du pont.

Très belle maison, petite jardin agréable. Proche de la mer et du centre ville de Rivedoux. La maison est très bien entretenue et nous y avons passé un bon séjour.

Idéale pour famille avec enfants

Très bien située au calme. Plages à proximité parfaites pour les enfants. Piscine chauffée et climatisation super. Chambres spacieuses. Pièce à vivre très agréable. Petit bémol. Terrasse un peu loin de la cuisine pour la prise des repas à l’extérieur.

Parfaitement Parfait

Nous avons loué cette villa le temps d'un long week-end entre amis (2 couples ayant chacun 2 enfants). La capacité d'accueil est idéale, la literie parfaite, la villa est équipée à la perfection... La piscine est très appréciable et a fait le bonheur des enfants... Isabelle et Richard sont très aimables et réactifs. Nous garderons un souvenir très agréable de ce court séjour sur L'île de Ré

Fantastic stay on Ile De Re

Our stay on Ile De Re was amazing. Thank you to Isabelle for letting us stay at her wonderful home. The property is brilliant. Spacious, clean, and very cool with an excellent pool to keep our two boys (11 & 8) thoroughly entertained. We would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking to stay on the beautiful island. Great position to explore from and close enough to the shops in Riverdoux.

Beautiful home in tranquil area

We had the most wonderful stay, a truly beautiful home from home perfect for our family, in fact we didn’t really want to leave! Everything ran perfectly smoothly from booking, arrival, during the stay and departure. Isabelle, her husband and property manager were superbly accommodating and we very much hope to stay in touch. The house was everything we expected and lived up to the photo’s and descriptions. Isabelle’s tips especially to hire bikes from Fun Cycle’s were genius! The area is not too crowded, has a stunning florist, fabulous fish monger, great bakery and sweet market. The house is the perfect retreat for pure relaxation, actually we’d really prefer to keep it a secret so we can come more often! Nous avons passé un séjour merveilleux, une maison vraiment magnifique, parfaite pour notre famille. En fait, nous ne voulions pas vraiment partir! Tout s'est parfaitement déroulé depuis la réservation, l'arrivée, le séjour et le départ. Isabelle, son mari et son gérant ont été très obligeants et nous espérons beaucoup rester en contact. La maison était tout ce que nous espérions et était à la hauteur de la photo et des descriptions. Les conseils d’Isabelle, en particulier pour louer des vélos chez Fun Cycle, étaient géniaux! La région n’est pas trop peuplée et compte un fleuriste exceptionnel, un poissonnier fabuleux, une excellente boulangerie et un marché aux friandises. La maison est un lieu de retraite idéal pour une détente absolue. En fait, nous préférerions vraiment garder le secret pour pouvoir venir plus souvent!
