「The shower took ages to get warm and there weren’t many bathroom products given in the rooms, The noise levels from the trains were annoying and sleep deprivation was included. The staff weren’t that friendly and honestly I would have expected more from them.」

「We stayed for one night, Room 17, the rear annex. Very quiet, comfortable room, the staff were extremely pleasant. We would certainly stay there again if in the area.」

「A lovely inn situated in a peaceful village but very handy for visiting the attractions within York and the North Yorkshire National park. The staff were very welcoming and friendly and our room was very clean and comfortable. We can recommend the food and drinks on offer in the air conditioned restaurant, both on the evening we stayed and for breakfast the following day. Top marks.」

「The Village Inn was the perfect place for a stopover while travelling further south. Ideally located a short distance from Northallerton. Large car park, restaurant with a really good menu choice and very reasonably priced. The room was extremely clean and comfortable with heating you can control yourself. Powerful shower and very hot water. Breakfast was great, with choices of full English, Vegan, cereals etc. I would highly recommend the Village Inn to everybody looking for somewhere to stay...
