No 1 Swallowholm Cottages is set in a small hamlet in picturesque Arkengarthdale, just 4 miles from Reeth and within the Yorkshire Dales National Park. Approached along a short farm track and surrounded by magnificent scenery this Grade II listed terraced cottage dating back to the 1800s has a multi-fuel burner, underfloor heating to the ground floor and quality furnishings to provide very comfortable accommodation. The local 18th century inn serves excellent food whilst Reeth has everyday shopping, craft shops, pubs and tea rooms. Richmond with its Georgian theatre, along with Leyburn and Hawes are just a short drive away. Arkengarthdale is a truly unspoilt corner of Yorkshire with walks from the doorstep across hills and moorland or make a journey over the Stang to the market town of Barnard Castle. Shop 4 miles, pub and restaurant ¼ mile.
