「We had a wonderful short stay and couldn’t have asked for better service. The staff were exceptional, incredibly friendly, and went above and beyond our expectations. I needed lactose-free milk for breakfast, and they actually went out to get it and had it back within minutes — such a thoughtful touch! 「We arrived to no one around and after walking around the property finally saw an envelope with our name on it and our key. Our room smelt moldy and damp. The carpet was dirty and the walls were peeling. The beds were very uncomfortable. It was shocking to see after such a high rating. The yard was unkempt and there was a general air of neglect about the whole place. 」

「The service was great, though my suggestion is that it is difficult to pair with an extended stay when you booked a short stay. The long-stay owners were extremely loud on the last day. Overall, a three-star from me, just because the service was good.」

「The tranquil setting and gorgeous building felt very special. We also enjoyed the gourmet breakfast that started the day . My only observation is that the Arts & Crafts building offers an opportunity to enhance that throughout rather than what is on the walls now, and feels like generic hotel decor that could be found anywhere. The priory is special, and that could be enhanced.」
