"The hotel is located on a street where taxis are not allowed, so be prepared to walk with your luggage to get there. The lobby is very small, with no place to sit. There is always a strong smell of food—like from a kitchen—in the hallways and elevator areas. The rooms are small and dirty, with a stained and dirty sofa. I did not feel comfortable at all in this hotel. "

"We stayed at Hotel Fron on two separate nights- one at the start of our trip and one at the end. I booked a two bedroom apartment both times. Our first night we were put in a three bedroom apartment, which was wonderful! Since we arrived via redeye earlier that morning, the three bedroom allowed each of my kids to have their own room to get good sleep. Our second night we were put in a two bedroom apartment. The bedrooms in both apartments were comfortable. We were able to check in early on the day we needed to. Front desk staff was efficient. I reserved parking by emailing the hotel a few months prior to our stay and it was so helpful to not have to worry about finding a spot. Breakfast was good- very different from an American continental breakfast but we all found something we liked. All in all, two great stays at Hotel Fron!"

"Out of the three hotels we stayed at in Reykjavik, this was THE BEST! Clean, modern, fantastic location, and delicious breakfast included. Yes, the rooms are small, but most hotel rooms on this City are also. Still comfortable. Very happy that we got to stay here. Definitely a great location and close to all of the major attractions and transportation."

"Wow, this place is unique. What a great vibe and welcoming staff. Great traveller hub and the hot tub is perfect for connecting with other folks along the way. This space had everything we needed, was minutes from all the local offerings, and offered us quiet and darkness when it was time to rest. This was the last stop on our honeymoon and they threw in a bottle of bubbly upon entry to the roomvwey impressed! We will return! "
