「We spent three lovely days at the villa up in the mountains. It was full of rustic charm and very peaceful (the only sounds in the evening were goats and birds!) The building has lots of history and has a pool and an en site convenience store which is really useful. The breakfast was incredible! It was served on the balcony of our room. 「The villa is wonderful, exactly as listed and the host Michael is a pleasure to deal with. The whole communication process from start to finish with him was so straightforward and he will go out of his way to help you in any way he can. Arriving to a traditional home cooked dish that was actually still warm was a lovely touch and was appreciated by us all. The views from the villa are great, mountains one side and the sea the other. 「Overall the villa is nice but it’s a bit tired and could do with some updating. The pillows were really uncomfortable and there were no bowls at all for breakfast cereal etc. I don’t think the pool is cleaned enough, two out of the three of us have ear infections which may well be a result of swimming in it. 「This beautiful villa is a hidden gem. The little village is so gorgeous. The drive up through the olive orchard is stunning. We never tired of the view. The restaurant that it attached to the villa is literally at the front door. The food is amazing. Though breakfast is not available, it's a short drive to a nearby town that has several other dining options. The pool is small but private. We would definitely stay here again. 」
