Niki is a smart and stylish property nestled in the picturesque Arkadi region. It is a gentle stroll to a well liked and seasonal taverna (500m), mini-market (600m) as well as a local coffee shop (850m), and just a short drive to tranquil Platanes Beach and the delightful town of Rethymno with its abundance of amenities and elegant harbour.
The thoughtfully designed layout, with clean lines, fresh fabrics and avant-garde lighting, is distributed across three floors. On the ground floor, the practical and contemporary living space opens out on to the covered exterior terrace, perfect for relaxing with a cool drink whilst keeping an eye on the children in the pool below, or for family meals al fresco. There is also a double bedroom on this floor. Stairs lead up to two further bedrooms which share a spacious balcony. Each floor is equipped with a modern shower room.

Nearby charming Rethymno (7km) has a blend of rich history and stunning natural beauty. At its heart stands the impressive Fortezza Castle, a 16th-century fortress that offers panoramic views of the town and the sea. This historical site is a testament to Rethymno's Venetian past, with its well-preserved walls and stunning architecture inviting visitors to explore its storied corridors. Other must-see sites in the region include the renowned Arkadi Monastery and the Rethymno Archaeological Museum. For a deeper dive into history, the Museum of Ancient Eleutherna is just 18km away.

A short stroll along down from the Fortezza will lead you to Rethymno Beach, offering guests golden sands and crystal-clear waters. This vibrant beach is lined with cafes and restaurants, making it a perfect spot for an evening promenade walk, a traditional meal or to participate in water sport activities. Platanes Beach (3.7km) is closer still and provides a more laid-back atmosphere. Both beaches are great for sunbathing and swimming and offer a picturesque backdrop against the stunning Cretan landscape.
