"Great view from the breakfast room. Very central to Bodmin Town Centre. Well organised - need to complete a breakfast request the day before, when you get there. Parking good - they have their own small car park. Rooms are lovely and clean. Shower room newly fitted. Really pleasant and relaxing. "

"Amazing staff. Unbelievably friendly, helpful and nothing is too much for them and they look smart and very well spoken. The room was absolutely amazing, nice and clean. It's amazing how so many original features are still there. The ghost walk and the self guided tour was also fantastic. We will certainly be back as we want to do the after hours tour. Couldn't ask for a better service or place to stay 😊"

"Lovely situation and very nice cottage. The village is isolated and only has one small shop for 'essentials. Sadly the cottage had no CH (temp?) so reliant on electric heaters and a nice, if a little hard work, wood burner. Some nice local walks along the river woodland but hilly, damp and not easy in places. Very young children and the less mobile might struggle. Pub is 100 feet away and very friendly (plus dogs). In the end we did not eat there. We did get a supermarket delivery in the week, no problem. Very friendly robin on the front window. All in all a nice, quiet stay if probably better suited to warmer and drier weather."

"An excellent two night stay at a location we hadn't visited for some years. Our dog-friendly room was really clean . Evening meals were good. Breakfast was not included though we think it is provided at other times of the year. There was however a very good cafe and shop next door that served breakfast, coffee and snacks. We will be back to both establishments in the next few months"

"The barn itself is lovely and contains most of what you would need, although I didn't expect to have to wash cutlery and crockery where previous people had not bothered. There were no dishwasher tablets supplied and no welcome pack.... The beds weren't altogether comfortable and every door that opened or closed, did so with a clank! That's ok, but during the night it tended to wake the whole barn up. One shower was impossible to use due to not being able to maintain an ambient temperature. The sign above says hot water, but it's scorchingly hot! We did enjoy our stay but think it's overpriced for what we got. Housekeeping should include checking things are clean."
