"The motel was very clean! The room was tidy, cute, and had everything needed. The staff were pleasant and accommodating. It was also very reasonably priced. Perfect for the quick night’s stay we needed. The only negative was a funky smell in the room. It wasn’t bad enough to inhibit our stay, though. We will definitely stay again!"

"Staff were all amazing. From Kaitlyn in the restaurant, who was just soo lovely, to all of reception staff & all of the bar staff. My husband, who isn’t a DD fan , would go back in a heartbeat. The setting, the facilities (too bad the pool wasn’t open as it was so warm in October, but I knew that. The quiz, the information boards , the free laundry facilities…. We took a hike up to Bald Knob (25/30 mins) worth the wonder up. The food was excellent and in the evening and it was quiet we were able to choose from the less expensive lunch menu. All delicious. Our room was wonderful. We were in a Richmond cabin with a porch and rockers outside. Loved it. Even the guy in the gift shop at the entrance had a lovely interesting chat with us and how his family owned the cars from the movie. I would recommend taking Dow creek rd not the 700 which is definitely more narrow and less crash barriers. Take it slow and if it’s wet don’t hurry especially with wet leaves. Preferably get there before dark, you want to see this place in daylight anyway! Don’t hesitate to book."

"Loved this place, we stayed mid-week and it was quiet and relaxing. Caught a fish in the clear waters of the Greenbrier River and even saw an eagle flying upstream. It was a great get away."

"Cozy cabin on the river in a beautiful area close to New River Gorge National park. The cabin was very clean and well supplied with cooking utensils and dishes. Great communication from hostess! It was a great base for exploring the area. Thank you!"

"We only stayed one night during a time all hotels were sold out. The place was very clean and staff super helpful. Was worried about 2 star rating but pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness and helpfulness of motel M. Didn't use amenities since we had to be on our way. Recommend to anyone needing a quick place to stay the night."
