"I traveled with family so having a kitchen was a huge plus for us, and the reason I choose this hotel. However, I found it odd that the kitchen wasn't already stocked with basics like plates and silverware. Those items were collected from the front desk in a large storage cubby, which seemed less corporate than I've experienced at similar hotels. The shower constantly leaked water no matter how careful we were, and upon cleaning up the floor with extra towels, discovered they were brown afterwards which told me the bathroom hadn't been mopped in some time. I think the rooms could benefit from a basic mop and broom since there isn't room service unless you stay for 8 days. Additionally, there were no hangers on the closet racks... I travel a lot and have never brought my own hangers. This seems like a simple offering that lacked forethought from the property. Otherwise, the location is ideal. Close to a gas station and Starbucks, maybe 20 minutes to Massanutten and less than 10 minutes to JMU. There is a tots play place across the street, which would be good for traveling young families. The property is clean, quiet and seems very new. "
