「Absolutely terrible cottages you can't get any more basic. Overlooking a concrete car park even though I paid for Garden view. Refused to stay in them and made them change me to the hotel which was OK. The site is very shabby and derelict. But hotel is modern. Nothing to do for children. Wouldn't stay again.」

「Food was ok Lighting in room awful, struggled to apply make up room was a bit neglected woodwork cracked and un kept . Location was good Also breakfast was expensive didn’t realise it was cheaper if paid on line」

「No tea and coffee in the room pushed you to go and pay for breakfast and the breakfast was not very good. Had to put my bread through the toaster 8 times before it resembled toast and the bacon looked like it had been cooked over a heated argument.」

「Good amenities and grounds. Hotel is really showing its age, especially the rooms. Mine was very dark with a tiny bathroom. Lots of little imperfections and stains on the carpet. Definitely not worth the money I paid, £115 + for the night, solo traveller.」

「When entering our room (308) there is a massive stain on the carpet, the sink in the bathroom has a big crack in it . We also had no fridge or any tea and coffee making facilities. We have stayed here numerous times and it has always been impeccable. We booked as we were attending a wedding the toilets near reception were blocked and the floor was extremely wet overall we were very disappointed.」

「I’ve never given a review like this before, but I think it’s only fair for future guests. When we checked in, the smell of dampness when opening the bedroom door was so strong, it was like a slap in the face. I then walked into the bathroom and the floor was so slippy and greasy that I went flying. Luckily I managed to grab on the sink, so as not to fall.
