"Spent 3 nights on the back end of our Ireland trip and had a great stay. Kids loved eating breakfast with sheep in the field all around! Lovely small farm with all the amenities a family would need and very close to town with great shops. Fantastic hosts and gift basket of breakfast items was a nice surprise!"

"Property is in a country like setting . It is a 20 minute drive to restaurants and stores to get a bite to eat. There is no one available on the property to let you into your rooms. Spent 90 minutes trying to reach someone by phone and email. We are 60 years old and not computer smart. "

"It was a beautiful home, the neighbor dogs were incredibly sweet. We enjoyed the pool table and the old stove. But It wasn’t easy to get anywhere with our large group,Ubers didn’t want to take the fare.There was no walking on the narrow road. When we did go to the closest town on a Monday, everything was closed for dinner except a pizza place and Brady’s (which we loved)for drinks. "There was no clear instructions on how to open the main door. The property manager gave us the wrong code for the room. There was a power outage during our stay and the place had no back up generator so along with no power, there was also no water. My partner was in the middle of washing his face when the water ran out. There’s also no air conditioning unit in the room so we had to open the window as it was too hot. We ended up only staying one night and booking another hotel."

"Ciaran and Eve were wonderful hosts! The apartment was very tidy and easy to find. Our transport was delayed and they incredibly accommodating of a midnight arrival. We were delighted to find tea and snacks waiting for us in the kitchen. The farm was easy to find and we loved exploring the trails and meeting all the animals living there. "Out in county but close to everything. This home was beautiful, everything we could need was provided! The living spaces were so comfortable we didn't want to leave, the bedrooms were beautiful, it was our own private luxe hotel, but just felt like a peaceful home. Caithriona welcomed us like family and made sure she was always available should we need her, she even gave us some great suggestions on places to visit. We could not ask for a better vacation stay."

"Absolutely loved my stay in this gorgeous clean house. The house is very modern and has all amenities you could need including two showers with great water pressure. The back garden gets lovely warm sun in the mornings which makes sitting in the kitchen a real treat. The train station is a five minute walk across the green and brought me straight into the city centre in 15/20 minutes. If you’re thinking of booking this place do as you won’t be disappointed!"

"The Grooms Cottage was a rustic wonderful stay. It is in the country but really not far from shops. Having only 1 bathroom was a little difficult in the morning with 5 adults but they are working on an upstairs one, it just wasn't ready for our stay. I definitely would come back to the Grooms Cottage!"

"Great location which was slightly outside the city, so it’s a bit more peaceful. It is easy to get into town with a taxi or train. The hotel is busy with weddings and other events. The atmosphere is great. The food selection was good. The rooms are a bit cluttered and dated. The pictures of the pool and spa give the impression of a relaxing oasis, which isn’t really the case. The pool is primarily used by families and their kids. I was fine with it but it isn’t a place to unwind and relax. 😃 I would definitely go back. "
