The room itself was updated and clean and very nice. I was upset that the only parking was across the street and not covered with my hotel stay. I had to come and go three times so ended up spending $20 each time to exit the garage. That seemed pretty ridiculous to me and was very unhappy about it. The lobby was a little strange, but I had good service at check-in.

Staff was super friendly and facilities were clean however the bed was really old and uncomfortable and there weren’t enough bath linens. We did enjoy being downtown close to the Red Hat though and would visit again for the location but hopefully with a better bed.

Given extreme heat no fridges in room. Like many hotels cant stay l9ng few coat hangers. Lad on congierge desk should be employed to do staff training. Reception staff asked for a tip to take 3 dollars for a bag of chips I fetched for myself. No info about surrounding area. Not even a notice saying visitor centre next door. Staff did not offer to download a map or volunteer any information. So I will not be recomending this hotel to anyone or staying at any Sheraton on my 7 week trip. You can walk to Red Cap but Martrott is next door but one and may have better reception staff.
