Room was fairly clean, not overly clean but typical. Check-in was fine. Towels were available but not wash cloths. I contacted the property which took awhile just to get in touch with someone. After getting in touch, no follow-up and they never did get back to me. You have your own room, but you’re on your own with that entails.

The room was very efficient with a kitchenette and separate bedroom, just what we needed. We enjoyed the gameroom very much as we visited with our son and grandson. Pool table, foosball, pinball and boardgames were great. There are lots of shops and restaurants around in walking distance, so that was convenient.

This place was great! I was surprised when I walked in and the floors were concrete, but that actually added to the "industrial" feel of this place. The host was very responsive when I had questions about the key, and gave me some tips on how to make things more efficient for my and my guest. There are restaurants in the same complex (Mexican, Brewery, Indian, coffee, ice cream shop, etc. Also, there is a pool, and a game room that has billiards, foosball, ping pong, etc. All in all this was a great place to stay and I was very pleased. I will definitely stay here again if I am in Raleigh.

Great Location and amenities. I’m very comfortable apartment. Only thing is that the Only Give You One Key and you need a key to access everything in the building also, because it is an apartment complex, guest assistance is only available during working hours.

2 night stay at The Forge at RIW

We enjoyed our stay at The Forge in their studio suite. It was clean, cozy, and fully furnished. The only downside with this unit is the plumbing piping must be on the other side of the bathroom wall as you could hear shaking & running water from the unit above when they flushed their toilet.

The area felt safe and there was a lot to do within walking distance. Check in and out was easy. The FAQ guide didn’t have a lot of specific information. The one bad thing was the WiFi was only available in the common area (pool, games etc), not in the actual room.

Facilities were wonderful. Very comfortable amenities. Perfect location and beautiful courtyard. However, we were disappointed as there were dirty linens in the washer and the dishwasher was full of moldy dishes. Really wish those few things hadn't spoiled it, otherwise I would have given this place 5 stars all the way.

This place was so wonderful. There were really nice businesses right downstairs. My fiancé and I had an amazing time. The pool wasn’t open but there were other amenities that we enjoyed such as arcade games and jenga. They also had a lounge area across from a fully loaded gym with a yoga room.
