"Beautiful hotel with super friendly staff. The grounds are managed in a way where you feel peaceful as soon as you walked into the hotel. The pool is beautiful. The rules are vast and well decorated. The food at the restaurant was super good and the price was really competitive compared to other restaurants. We tried around the hotel. "Awesome location, extremely friendly staff, food was great, service almost impeccable! Moises at the pool was our best friend by day 2...expect to walk A LOT to get to anything and the beach is not just a hike away...the jungle environment is amazing. Maria at the SPA provides the BEST MASSAGE ever with aromas and sounds. Highly recommend!!!"

"Lovely hotel with friendly staff. You are so close to Manuel Antonio park and the beach with a good choice or bars and restaurants. La Vela Boutique has a small pool which is not busy so getting a sunbed in the afternoon isn’t a problem. Big shout out to the pizza chef who managed to prepare and cook 2 superb pizzas during a power cut under the torchlight of an iPhone. A great place to stay.."

"Absolutely perfect hotel! The wildlife, staff and accommodations were fantastic. Many different tourists, from around the world, and even the guests were kind and friendly. It is not a fancy hotel but we ate at expensive (“exclusive “) hotel restaurants at times and Hotel Verde Mar was a WAY better of experience overall. Just fabulous!"
