"First of all there was a problem with the room the first night as it was too cold and we got a heater to warm it up. This obviously wasn't ideal but we very much appreciated that we got our room upgraded to a double executive by the Reception in order to make sure that we had a great stay. The room was great and we also got 2 extra free access to the spa and pool! The personnel of the hotel was very professional and careful to our requests. Overall a great experience. Thank you!"

"Room smelled musty. The toilet roll hadn't been topped up before my stay & had to request it was refilled. You need to request a room clean if you require one. Not enough towels provided, had to request more. 1 out of 3 receptionists was friendly, others barely spoke as walked through reception."

"We had an absolutely wonderful week at Ridge Hill Manor together with our greater family. The house and garden are beautiful, and there are lovely dog walks from the house in all directions. East Grinstead is only a few minutes drive away, yet the location feels very rural. Conveniently situated for days out at places like Standen House, Chartwell and Glyndebourne. Pete was very helpful and communication easy. The only things we missed were a history of the house (which we got via WhatsApp after asking) and maybe a few more kitchen utensils (like for example a water jug). We would all love to come back!"

"Although the property is impressive inside with good size rooms and an extensive shared area. Our weekend break was ruined by a number of issues. Firstly, we had to contact both the host and VRBO for access information 3 hours before we were due to check in. On the first night, we saw mice on the kitchen, which caused us to constantly disinfect all surfaces and stop our 20 month grandson playing on the floor. On the second night, we were awoken by a very loud party next door, at another rental property, which started at 12.00 midnight. When we informed the host of the issues, they were apologetic but had to be persuaded to offer any recompense for the issues. Eventually, a token amount was given. We would not stay there again. "
