The grounds were well-maintained, clean, and quite nice. Our room was pleasant, and the swim-out pool was a big hit with my kids, who loved having access to the water all day. However, we had paid for two connecting rooms with double beds and swim-out pools for our family of five, but unfortunately, they couldn't accommodate this despite assuring us they would. As a result, our kids, aged 8 and 10, were in a separate room, which left us feeling uneasy.
The food quality was poor and felt cheap. Out of all the restaurants, our favorite was Zen. At the Marache buffet, we even found a roach. Hunters Steakhouse was the worst dining experience I've ever had. Despite having an 8 pm reservation, we didn't receive our food until around 11 pm, leaving my kids starving.
Breakfast is available from 6 am to 10:30 am, and if you miss it, there's no other food option until lunch, which runs from 12 pm to 4 pm, mostly as buffets. Missing lunch means waiting until dinner at 6 pm. All the resort's restaurants open at 6 pm for dinner and close at 10 pm, with room service taking an average of 2 hours.
The rooms are not connected to the main lobby, so you need to request a cart to pick you up, which takes forever. Walking in the extreme heat is not pleasant. All pools close at 6 pm, and all bars close at 11 pm. The staff was unhelpful. Overall, I hated my stay.
