Too bad!!　Not recommended.
The pool and beach are nice. However, the hospitality and other items (see below) were very poor and made me feel very uncomfortable throughout my stay. We had to wait more than 2 hours for check-in. The room was double-booked and there was a different family staying in the room. There was no apology for this, and it took another hour for the room to be offered again. There was no cooperation between the front desk and guest services, and everything took a long time to be done. I saw a guest arguing with an employee in the lobby many times. This is not a scene befitting a resort hotel. The showers did not have hot water, only cold water. The food was not good, and you should make sure that the fish dishes were cooked. The food was not good, and the whole family had diarrhea because it was not cooked properly. There was no notice that the venue for the Covit test had suddenly changed, which was very unfriendly. In addition, when we asked the front desk, they just replied that they didn't know the situation. Based on my experience above, I think it is better not to stay in this hotel group.

Staff was very friendly, chef minaya and chef carlos moni went above and beyond with our group. They prepared a special dinner for us that really made our stay. Nevertheless, every body was very friendly and the food was very good.

if you are debating in staying here, please DO! I’ve visited a couple hotels in PC, but none of them top the Majestic. i’m definitely not going to keep looking other hotels when visiting, will always choose Majestic!

They could improve on cleaning some areas on the pool that debris and dead insects accmulate. Especially there is an area between towel station and the bar which actually is a big section that has no fresh water coming in from the filtration system and dead insects and debris get pushed to that area. I've been to hotels with huge pools that had a robot cleaning the debris overnight or had a dedicated person with a mesh tool cleaning those areas all the time.

Our stay here was very nice, family friendly. Facilities were great, beach was very nice. Staff were very friendly and social. Just wished there were more buffet places to eat at, but rodeo grill had the best food there. We would def stay here again.

We had the most wonderful time on this resort! Friendly for all types, families, lovers, etc. the staff was amazing, everything was clean, you always felt taken care of, and the food was great. Beautiful pools, the ocean, just a dream. My favourite employee had to be Irwin. Irwin made sure that we were absolutely taken care of from the moment we arrived until we landed back in Canada! He was the most professional and helpful person we could’ve asked for. Always went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied. We plan on coming back and hope to have Irwin helping us again!!

This property exceeded my expectations. The only thing I would change is the rooms are a little out dated. The food was authentic. The night activities were cool but what sold me was the staff. We had a wonderful time at this resort! Food variety was excellent at the buffet style restaurants, the specific style restraunts were great and the a la carte reastraunts were fantastic. So all in all food was excellent! Great veriety of activities during the day and the evening entertainment was fun. Beach was well kept and really enjoyed snorklung around the area. Will highly.consider going back to this resort!

Property grounds are beautiful and well maintained but the rooms are in dire need of an update (furniture is old, the AC barely worked, the small fridge didn't cool the beverages, the towels and the robes were warned out, etc.). Food options were good at the buffet but the a-la-carte was unsatisfactory (very limited menu options and small portions). This didn't look like a 5-star resort. We won't be back.

First off they barley provide anything to do at this resort . The casino doesnt open until 3 there is only one show a night that really isnt that good. Most of the staff especially the women are so rude and just not friendly at all. The food is absolutely horrible just thrown togther . They list all the things that are in the food and u order it to get just whatever they decided to put in it. The french restaurant was the only good food the hibachi was pretty good as well . Drinks were great though. It rained 2 days all day and the have nothing to do at all for those days. The DJ in the club plays the worst music . We paid for VIP what a joke there is nothing VIP about it dont waste your money. Even with VIP couldn't get into the restaurants if they were booked already and mind you when we got there they were already mostly booked luckily someone cancled and we got in but if i pay for VIP i shouldn't have to do that. Our butler Julio was the only best thing . The resort is beautiful but its just not enough to do and the beach was beautiful but they just need more activities and better food. Also women bring your own feminine products a box of tampons at their store was 33 dollars they are trying to take advantage to the fullest which is so wrong. Box of nerds candy was 12 dollar at their store just horrible. Then they have people there selling stuff likr a flea market pressuring you to buy stuff when your just trying to go to dinner just horrible . Would never come back .

This resort was absolutely beautiful. The only issue we had was if you’re a vegan/vegetarian there aren’t many options for you dining wise. Otherwise we had a fabulous time.

The property is beautiful, although old and needs a lot of repairs, I went with friends and all the bathroom showers are damaged, the pool needs cleaning. Its very friendly people have spectacular attention.

Stayed at the majestic colonial for 6 days. It was an amazing time. Stayed at the colonial club adults only part of the hotel which includes a butler which never seen him after we checked in. Besides that everything was amazing. Staff is very friendly and entertainment crew was amazing.

First time the family has been to Dominican Republic let alone a resort. The Majestic Colonial was very nice. It was well maintained and the grounds were kept immaculate. The food was good, not fantastic but good. Nobody came home at the same weight so we definitely ate. There is a limited selection of beer available but plenty of liquor. The beach was beautiful but there was a whole lot of Sargasso seaweed that kept washing up so we had to contend with that. The staff was very friendly. Knowing a little bit of Spanish helps out a lot since some crew members did not speak English. There was plenty of chairs available at the beach so that was never an issue. I would go to Majestic resorts again. Maybe this time try the Elegance.
