"Clean room, friendly staffs"

"The only blemish on our stay was the attitude of the guy at reception, he was a bit unwelcoming & seemed to be in a hurry to get rid of customers, I didn't get his name but noticed a French Accent. When I checked out the next day I dealt with the owner and it was a pleasure dealing with him, he's aware of the situation now. I was pleasantly surprised by how clean and well equipped this place is, if you are lucky enough not to deal with the same guy I dealt, I will highly recommend this place."

"The room was clean and had a view of the lake. The bed was comfortable. While the hotel is basic, I don't think it deserves the reviews it has received. It is a good, clean, comfortable stay. The price is more than I would expect in the city because it is in the middle of the South Island in a Dark Sky area, which adds costs."
