Clean and tidy. Great parking. Very friendly staff

It was so cozy and warm! Nice size room which had everything required. Staff were really helpful and friendly

The room was clean and tidy. We did have a good stay at the Halswell and will stay again. A couple of things. One of the lamps wasn't working. We turned the fridge off as it was very noisy and there was no door handle on the outside of our door. These are all minor, and as I said we will stay again.

First thing that hit me in the reception area when first arrived was the smell of stale cigarettes, I’m assuming the person that served us was the manager, he was friendly didn’t see any other staff while we were there, the room when we walked in was tidy but desperate needs a face lift, everything in the room is very old, mole in the shower very noticeable, old top stove that needs gone, old electric heater needs gone (fire hazard), Bed 😳😩 needs to be replaced,hubby and I ended up with sore back and neck. We didn’t let the manger know because what could he have done?, the complex was full and I was going to leave a comment anyway, I want to let you know that we will never book here again.
