"Die Wohnung ist feucht, muffig und kalt, das Mobiliar nicht mehr im besten Zustand. Es gibt keine Möglichkeit zu heizen. Damit wir es ein bisschen wärmer hatten, mussten wir abends alle vier Platten des Gasherds eingeschalten. Die Wohnung liegt zwar mitten im Ort, aber an der Hauptverkehrsstrasse zwischen Valverde und Frontera. Die Autos fahren sehr schnell und sind dadurch nachts recht laut zu hören. "Sehr persönliche und schnelle Kommunikation mit der Vermieterin.Das Häuschen hält, was es in der Beschreibung und auf den Fotos verspricht.Ich habe mich in das Häuschen und die Insel verliebt.Die Adresse ist wegen der verschiedenen Einbahnstraßen anfangs nicht leicht zu finden, Google Maps hilft.Ich hoffe, bald wieder kommen zu können!"

"The room was clean and comfortable. The receptionist was very friendly. The location is excellent. But the room let it down. It was dated. No fridge or water etc. The bathroom door was rotten at the bottom. The bedroom wall was paper thin and we could hear and make out every word the family next door said. Also, the corridor was very noisy all night and in the morning. So due to the poor noise insulation, neither of us had a good sleep. Breakfast was very expensive for what it was. €21 for two people. The coffee was good but the rest of the Buffett was average at best."

"The views are wonderful and there are lots of sheltered outdoor spaces to sit and read. Everything you need for self catering.The Casa is quite isolated - we chose not to hire a car, 30 min down hill walk to a supermarket (quite steep return journey), the nearest restaurant is about 20 minutes away and is well worth a visit (La Pasada). Buses run on time and it's a set rate for anywhere on the island. Chano was very helpful, as was the owner.We had quite a bit of wind and rain - but the house stayed dry and warm. Walking in the cloud from the Casa into Valverde took about 1 hr 30min. An excellent place to relax!"

"We absolutely loved our stay at Casa Mar Azul. The location is fantastic, and the mountain views from the terrace are truly stunning—one of our favorite parts of the house. The home itself is thoughtfully equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The beds were very comfortable, the linens were high quality, and the kitchen had all the essentials for cooking at home.If anything, a few additional pillows would have been appreciated, but this was a very minor detail compared to how enjoyable the overall experience was.Our hosts were wonderful—warm, responsive, and extremely communicative throughout the check‑in process, providing clear directions and making everything easy.We truly loved our stay and would happily return!"
