With capacity for 4 people, the King's Shelter offers maximum comfort in two cosy rooms, both equipped with double beds, one of them en suite.



On the ground floor, you will find a fully equipped kitchen and dining room in an open space, as well as a living room ready for moments of socialising and relaxation.



On the outside, the barbecue area promises to be the highlight for unforgettable gatherings among family and friends.

Just a few minutes from some of the island's most famous attractions, such as the natural pools of Porto Moniz and the imposing cable car of Achadas da Cruz, the King's Shelter provides a perfect balance between relaxation and adventure. For nature lovers, the proximity to iconic levadas, such as the Levada da Ribeira da Janela and the Levada do Moinho, is an irresistible invitation to explore the fascinating landscapes of Madeira.

In just a few minutes by car, you can explore the picturesque Ponta do Pargo and the charming village of Prazeres, where you will find excellent local cuisine restaurants and the lovely Quinta Pedagógica dos Prazeres, a unique space to get to know the local fauna and taste regional products made on-site.

Beautiful and Quiet

Madeira is beautiful wherever you go but if you want quiet with less crowds and less neighbors this is the place to stay. It had all the amenities we could ever need and a beautiful yard to draw or read. This is the opposite of a big city life and offers a true getaway from the rise and grind of the everyday hustle.
